Despite the relatively poor working environments, it's always a pleasure to see a pair of Blacksmiths or rather a blacksmith and his helper working so smoothly together that they know exactly what to do, and when to do it because they've been working together a long time! Great Job my friends! It's great to see your team working so well choreographed and smoothly! Keep up the fantastic work!!! The only thing I would do differently is leave the rounded end on the blade of the Hoe, it would be a much more efficient tool that way, making it less jarring to the user.
the helper was the best thing to watch . in addition to leaving the rounded end i'd leave out the decorative line they put in . just looks like a breakpoint as metal fatigue sets in
One of the few times, in these types of videos, that such a fluid motion is ever seen.... I reckon even with the editing and heating time, the filming guy(s) must have only been there a few hours if that.... We're almost seeing this being made real time... F-ing pro's for sure... Nice job.
Powerhammer skill is the same everywhere. Tooling and procedure make the forging. Excellent approach to efficient production. I see ideas I can use in my own shop. Excellent.
not at all look at the largest cereal exporters, and see how they work. people using those hand tools are just using it to feed their family, i.e a ratio of 1 to say, 5, worker / people fed with his work US and Ukrainian farmers using big tractors, this is a ratio of 1 to several 10.000's , probably even more depending on the product.

after making 5 thousands of them, 18 hours a day, 7 days a week, you start knowing what your task is.
Very hardworking workers in the production of the necessary tools.
The synchronicity between the two at the hammer was next level.

what powder does the assistant chuck into the depression made while forming the hole for the wooden shaft?
Как можно рельсу разбить кувалдой на кусочки?

There is nothing amazing about seeing people from the stone age trying to use modern technologies. It's kinda scary IMO
