- This is a crewmate strategy to find out who the imposter is every game.
Hey guys! Among Us is a multiplayer game where 4-10 people are all aboard a ship and are preparing it for takeoff. There is one or two imposters that have to unsuspectingly kill all of the crewmates before they can complete their given tasks and takeoff.

Yeah, I was playing as imposter, and there was a reactor meltdown, then on my way there I saw two people go into electric, so I turned and went in to check them out, then abt 5 mins later, the other imposter killed someone, and I was not remotely sus abt it, then someone said "I saw red (me) running away from reactor during meltdown which is quite sus" and I said I saw two others going into electric zo I followed them, and I wasnt running away, then everyone voted me.

this is over rated the first one is wrong there are no vents in storage and the vents ini shields leads to navigation its just a coincidence
and the 2nd is right there is vent leads to medbay but ,the only reason you should vent is to run away from a dead body when he said he "vented from security-medbay why would he take the risk to run from nothing and posibbly getting caught vented??? you can clearly see there is no one in scurity accept one person again its a coincidence

Well darn I got accused and framed randomly and voted out with nothing happening and I was a crewmate, multiple times. All they said was "trust me" when I was asking them wtf did I do and they were like "guys trust me its liquite."

This means nothing, for the first example, someone could have walked out of shields and another could have walked into storage. It was pure luck. Also the admin map doesn’t detect people in the hallways so it’s not reliable enough to depend on, though you might get lucky a few times

Another strategy: stand in either medbay or electricity. Stick to tue wall next to the entrance. Always remember who come inside. If u saw someone come outside but u dont remember he came in. He vented

This strategy doesn't work all the time, because everyone disappears when there in a hallway. So a player could've just walked out of Security and a player went into MedBay.
Yeah that happened to me on my first game I thought someone had gone through the vents but it was just one person walking into a room while another was walking out so I called an emergency meeting and lost the game

I was imposter this time and no one was near me so I killed someone and waited around 2 minutes to report the body (nobody found it somehow) and all i said was the location of the body after the report plus I was moving around with another dude before that. they say cyan (me) is sus. I say “how? I traveled with red the whole time and he watched me go from nav to shields” keep in mind the guy who said I was sus was nowhere near me and was making assumptions and he somehow convinced everyone it was me without proof then people get mad when I’m pissed in chat.

The first example is very misleading because there are no vents in storage. The second example is very well done.
But admin doesn't show hallways. It's still very flawed
“Very well done?” Reality of second example: “nah it’s white he a lil sus” *white was not the impostor*
You can tell if someone is the imposter if
1. They are “doing” a task
2. If they are doing a task you would notice that the task bar goes up
3. If the task bar doesn’t go up and someone is pretending to do a task they are the imposter
4. The imposter has fake tasks to do to look like they are actually doing it
5. You should always watch someone do a “task” and make sure the task bar goes up.
6. If it doesn’t make a emergency call and vote out that player and tell them how/why they are the imposter.
(Can you guys stop hating this is just something that I know and just wanna share, I know I’m not helpful and don’t accuse my gender :)
What happen if a crewmate Saw you were looking/Following at someone and Sus with you then they call a emergency meeting and told the all crew that you were sus convincing them that you are the imposter actually that you are not

0:26 Um, there's no vent from shields to storage. What actually happened was one person leaving shields and, right when the second person left, the first person entered storage. It was just a lucky guess that brown was an impostor and was just a random coincidence.

I have a question about the very first one though. How could you tell that someone vented and not just went throught the hallway leading to another room.

The first was just pure luck BUT you dont show up on admin if youre in a hallway, which means in any ther instance the guy would go invisible before appearing at a different room (assuming they didnt vent)

When I am a crewmate I never go near anyone cause I am scared of dying but when I die I always say to myself " well at least I can do my tasks peacefully" and actually when I am an impostor I never vent I will do it if I will help them because my fellow impostors is sabotaging
No offense, but you should try trusting people, here's a trick if u didn't know, in skeld map, storage trash, shield, armory asteroid task, medbay scan have animation, if the animation runs, then they are 100% crewmate, in armory, just look the gun at the right, if someone there and no shoot, then they are an impostor, if garbage doesn't goes out in storage, then they are the imp, if shield doesn't lights up in the right corner, then they are imp, often 2 people have it, so it's not a good trust if the lights are on already, but if not then it's a good way to know they aren't imp, and lastly in medbay scan task, if the scan animation doesn't runs, *u know what I will say*. Those are a good way to know if they are the imp or not, but 1% chance that doesn't work where random people troll and act they are the imp. Team with them, but if they sus you, and u have one of those task, asked them to follow u and show them the task animation, sometimes people don't know this and still vote for u, which is a shame. So if ur the impostor, try to not fake tasking those kind of task
Edit: forgot to say that every map has a scan medbay task, and atleast give them 5 secs in the armory task, and if after 5 seconds and doesn't shoot, then 99% its an imp

Once I was in this server and there were 4 people left, and 2 of them were together.
I was a crewmate and I didn't know purple was the imposter, nor that the 2 other people were together. And then the 2 people said it was ME even though they didn't even THINK about if it was purple or not. And then I ended up getting voted out. Like bruh, get some proof first without guessing

If you accuse them and say "vote me next if not him", They might say it's you. How to fix that, say "I will vote myself, okay? Vote (color) if I'm good, okay?"
Then they will notice you're good and someone will most likely do an emergency meeting.

0:23 actually admin's map doesn't show when someone is passing trough a hallway, and the vent at shields can just transport people to navigation, which means you were lucky and this example won't be valuable most of the times

There could be 1 person at security that walked out and 1 that walked in med bay. So ur strategy can be flawed easily
But then they would of appeared on the upper Engine in Admin Map then made it to Medbay
It happens in an instant somif it didnt they woukdnt appear on the upper engine or reactor becaus ethery in the hallway

@@QuartzQuill they dont vent instantly but when you are in a vent your icon still shows in the room, so if you are using the admin map they are going to instantly change room.

I'm telling you right now. Faking tasks and the way the run in and out of rooms is literally the biggest sign ever.
If you see a crewmates constantly running in and out of rooms without doing any tasks then that means THEY ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO KILL.
Also , if you are on cams and you see someone come out of medbay without going in that means they vented from electrical.
