    Greg, that Spanish/French impersonation...you cracked us up! That French rosca de reyes is completely different then the Mexican rosca that I know. I feel like each Catholic dominant country or region has their own version of the bread/pastry c for that holiday season, i.e., King Cake in the Gulf states; Louisiana, Tx.. It's all good. Great videos, we enjoy seeing your enthusiasm and appreciation for Mexico!

    You made it to Santa Rosa de Viterbo, I agree with you that it is one of the most impressive church on the inside that I’ve seen. The Mexican Rosca de Reyes is quite different, but wait until you taste it, you’ll love it. One of the most impressive things about Queretaro is that fountains system, think about it: several hundred years ago, Queretaro had a public system of running water. On the breakfast buffet, the first one was barbacoa and the second was Carnitas.

    • @kinetickennons
      @kinetickennons  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The water system is incredibly interesting. I would love to interview somebody about it or do a more in depth video!

      Same thing here. I have been living in Houston since 2004 working as a math/science teacher and still have an accent so I think I will always have it. Is all about the muscles of your mouth that's what I learned in a phonics training. So ohh well. From Monterrey Mexico btw. You should go.

    To see Mx on a whole different stage I recommend that you take el Chepe Train from the US into Mx. I have heard it’s a beautiful way of seeing the mountain side of the Copper Canyon, 3-4 day trip , with multiple stops along the way. Also, El Cielo Biosphere is a beautiful gem nestled in the great state of Tamaulipas. Last but not least, I would hope you guys go to el Sumidero Canyon in The state of Chiapas..A true majestic masterpiece. Enjoy..

    Please visit Puebla too, its a couple hrs away from Mexico City and it is rich in history, Puebla was one of the main cities of the Spanish empire and it is also the place where the battle of May 5th took place better known as "cinco de Mayo" when Mexicans won over the French army when they tried to conquer Mexico. There is also a chapel made of 24 karat gold which is among the new 7 wonders of the world and you can see the smallest volcano in the world and you can actually go inside the crater.

    Go to Guanajuato and then Puebla. Both are absolutely amazing. Both have amazing history. If you love architecture I think Puebla will rock. However Guanajuato has so much to me offer and it’s loads of fun. They have put door events every night and they also have a mummy museum. Puebla has lots of Church’s, pyramids in the Cholula area, oldest library, amazing architecture and delicious, delicious food.

    You must go to Morelia, Michoacán.
    It is also a colonial city, but it is waaaaaay diferent from any other colonial city in México, it has magic on every corner and is really unexpensive.
    You'll fall in love with Morelia

    I do not know you guys but I think “La Guera” is getting prettier every day and looks more happy than before. I have been watching their videos from long time ago and from then to today she definitely looks more happy, her face expression shows more happiness in her life. I’m thinking that she is pregnant
