Today I'm sharing my plans for how I intend to grow my TH-cam channel - hoping it proves insightful and offers aspiring content creators some ideas on how to grow a small channel.

Dude, I'm like a minute into your video and have never seen your stuff before, but it's really good to see someone so excited to be doing whatever it is they're doing. You seem authentic and like a really good person, so I hope you achieve your goals for this year and the next!

I mainly do research, organisation, productivity videos but at that point where I'm flexible to seeing what sort of thing TH-cam analytics tells me my viewers like seeing / what people respond positively to! 😅

Hey there Cam!!! Great work putting out this type of video. Yes, I'll admit it, I had the same reaction as others when I saw you had 89 Subs (Now 90...I subbed). But, then I quickly got past that and thought that you are putting intentional actions on film and getting the word out there. Obviously, you are laying out your plan, however, I know that you know (At least I think you do!) that others are wondering "How I Plan To Grow MY YT Channel As Fast As Possible?" I am in the running space and have been mulling this concept over too. Taking the questions that runners are looking up, then create a video around me having "experimented" using that concept they are searching for. As you would say across The Pond, "BRILLIANT Mate!" Keep up the great work. I'm about to start a second channel next month, and will "ethically stealing" your concepts. Maybe we can "Colab" in the future? I'm probably 2 1/2X your age thought, but that just means I'm seasoned. Keep Pushing Out The Vids!!!

@@cameronjohnwilson On my running channel, I plan to get more into doing deep dives on the science behind running performance. We all have a set genetic potential for certain things like sports and intelligence. Our genetic potential will only allow us to get so far. My concept behind "Push The Run" is using science to push one's running performance further than their "genetic potential" allows. I'm going to be doing research into finding the best hydration powders, energy gels, additional supplements and training gear. Also, I'll be racing in one marathon per month to celebrate my 20the anniversary of beating stage 4 esophageal cancer after being told I had a 2% chance of surviving. What is it you are studying at university? One of my addictions used to be in obtaining a collection of degrees. When I'm not running, filming, editing or travelling, I teach all levels of performance psychology course for a couple online universities.

I already have videos up. I actually have 222k followers on TikTok, but I learned that it’s almost impossible to bring followers from TikTok to TH-cam, so I can created longer form content for my TH-cam subscribers.
@@itstheluufamilyyes I have similar problems! I have a lot of Twitter followers, but it is challenging to merge my following on this platform with TH-cam. Let me know what you do to get more success 😅
Great. I love this. I started with zero subscribers and view. I now have 100. Still low 😅
But getting there! It’s a long and gruelling process and important not to focus too much on the numbers but rather what you are learning.

Hey Cameron! I am also a new TH-camr trying to grow from nothing and have enjoyed the journey so far. I am curious though, what are you using to edit your videos? I know we are in two completely different genres of TH-cam content but I like some of the animation you’re putting into your videos.
So I'm using Final Cut Pro to do these ones and just recording on an iPhone! I would obviously like to invest in higher quality equipment but would only do that with earnings I (hopefully) make from TH-cam 😌
