Thank you so much for this. It has truly been one of those days when things have gone so painfully wrong that it made my head spin... followed by a night where I found the writing of a deceased loved one and the grief came flooding back in so many waves that I felt as if i'd drown. I was so tired. Because of some personal things i've only slept about 1/2 hour to an hour in 2 days. And the events of the day were really shaking me .. and exhausting me to my core. But I still made my bed .. and tidied up around the house. Then sat down and clicked a reel you put on facebook advertising a show tonight .. in which this song was playing. I needed kind words. So I pulled up this video. Your positivity always shines.. and sometimes, it shines on dark places.. making them light again. Thank you for providing your brand of "ever shining light". Have said it before.. and will say it again.. the world could use a few million just like you. :)

Times like these, out on my deck after hanging with some really funny gal friends out for karaoke earlier, winding the day and part of the week down - it really strikes me how much better my life has become with great friends like them. Making new friends just takes an expression of true honesty - either to the same sex or the opposite - just an honest expression of interest in who they are. When I was at my lowest, for about a year prior to Covid19 lockdowns (and certainly thru and AFTER the lockdowns…), I was isolating. Do not - do NOT isolate. I don’t have all the answers but I know that you MUST start there again. That is the new beginning - PEOPLE. Feed them and they will feed you, I promise. You CAN and SHOULD be selective - that’s fine - but do the work. Tomorrow. And the next day. Be VULNERABLE for like 10 seconds when you meet someone who seems to share your VALUES - again, honesty and vulnerability for them being KEY no matter your other values. Good luck - I promise that if you put some work and vulnerability in, you will get SO much back. Not enough friends but love the ones you have? Well then get back to work! Wishing everyone peace and fulfillment. I’ve been to some crushingly lonely places, feeling lost and misunderstood. That’s not at all where I am today. You think you’ve seen it all, but you haven’t.
