The Miss Universe is not a speaking contest. So many girls from Venezuela won without speaking English. Philippines have so many finalist who are not very fluent in English.

I’m Thai and living in the USA and I immersed myself in Thai news and culture as well. Not to mention I visited thailand many times, and never hear of “ K light pole “ crap. It was probably a brief news about it and only if you were living in thailand at the time when the news broke about the light pole issue you might remembered the situations. Most Thai’s living in thailand don’t even know about this light pole problem they have to goggle it. Tharina is not stupid, they keyword is inappropriate..!!

So the organization should be expend or fix words clearly and also make the foreigner understand.
