the shad raps are my favorite. thanks, for showing us your cranks
The Baby -1 is one of my all time favorites 😍
Love old school videos
Nice Old School box Mr. Missle!!
I went to a yard sale a few months ago. The guy buys storage units and the unit belonged to a bass fisherman, and I loaded up on new in box TN Tuffy's, the stamped Mann's Baby 1 as well as the Mann's Mid 1 made in the USA, some older Poes, and Fat Free shads and fingerlings.
You hit the jackpot
@@JohnCrews Especially considering I paid like $.50/ per lure. The new Baby 1's don't hunt like the stamped ones, so I buy em whenever I see them.
Strike pros were big in Texas. They wiggle like crazy and fish eat em. Still have several.
Awesome!! Great video and informative. Big O
Love my little John and rock crawler in the early spring both in spring craw color
Sure enjoyed this one. It’s great to see what guys grew up throwing & what they would throw besides sponsored product. But really nice to see the discontinued vintage stuff guys are buying or keeping.
I just started learning about the popular old baits and new discontinued baits guys catcher on and stuff. It’s really interesting and fun to learn & confidence building while I throw those baits.
It’s a motorcycle helmet fit when it’s raining
Great video!
Cool
You could do this type of video every week. I love to find an oldie but goodie.
Old school Bagleys …Killer B2 and DB3s.
Might need an Outsider MR…I love the Little John MR plus I like silent baits most of the time.
The #5 and 7 Shad Raps are a staple but if there are Gizzards in the lake try the SuperShad Rap…it catches monsters every year for me at the same time most everyone is throwing the small ones.
The cotton Cordell big O white with black stripe or chrome n black has always been a good cheap bass catcher for me
Those Ron E Bee's are tough to find. Awesome baits!
I have a box like this with older crankbaits that I keep in my boat for that panic button scenario because I've caught so many fish on them but in all honesty it's hard for me to throw them where I need to because you can't buy them anymore and I'm scared of losing them. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
A couple new balsa’s are PH or Phil Hunt Custom lures, and Cliff Pace’s Black Labels. I throw both of those a lot. I met the builder of the Tennessee Toughies a few weeks ago at the antique lure show in Pigeon Forge. He had for sale the last day maybe 20 of his creations for $150 each. He said that was going to be the last ones made.
I didn’t realize there were two sizes of the outsiders. I have caught several bass over 5 on them. I need to try the smaller outsider version now. I haven’t yet tried the little John Micro or Fat Johns. I can’t keep up with all the great new baits. Keep up the good work. Crank baits are fun to collect and fish!
My two favorite oldies are a Rebel Humpback with a baby bass pattern and a Storm with a perch pattern and rattle. I've caught hundreds of huge bass on that Humpback running just under the surface. I'm afraid to use it any more because I don't want to lose it. On the Storm, I've caught a decent number of bass, but since I moved to Colorado about 30 years ago, I keep catching rainbow trout on it of all things. I was shocked beyond belief the first time it happened.
9:41 fish catching sum-a-gun. 10:00 the juice!
Baby 1 minus is the deal
Tennessee Tuffy crankbaits. I still have some. A favorite. Bomber Speed Shads. I still catch them on Buggs with it. Another old Bagley I use is the "honey bee." Great video. Thanks for sharing.
How many speed shads you got??
@@gregc2621 I would say a dozen
@douglasspickler4925 man me and my dad only have 3 left between us. You have any with the gold foil insert?
@gregc2621 I have gold, silver, greenish, solid chrome, and firetiger. None for sale, though. Sorry.
@@douglasspickler4925 ahhhhh
Still throwing all my old baits cause the new one's are to expensive. Love my deep wee r and manns razorback
Where are your wiggle warts?
I have caught many bass on the original Mann's razorback pig in crawdad
The 6th sense movement 80x is a crazy hunting shallow crank. I'm not nit picking, I know everyone has they're own storage methods. I figured I'd see your cranks like crazy organized instead of lumped in to 3700 size normal boxs.
Cool video. Might want to add an old Luhr Jensen Speed Trap. 👍
The old ones were good
I still throw some Mimic baits and CP baits! It’s a shame they are no longer making baits
Speaking of crankbaits how did the zillion tw hd 1520xh do for the deep cranking. Love the show, thanks if ya see this and have time to answer.
I always wondered why someone hasn't come up with a shad rap replacement that would throw easier. I think berkley has one called a flicker shad that looks similar, but i haven't tried one to compare. Maybe Spro could develop one😉
No wiggle warts or Bagley’s?
That helmet is sick bro. Is that made by Save Phace? I got to get a couple of those.
Lucky craft classical leader sr is like a manns minus 1.
Hmmmmm
I know strike a woods current
Was the little John modeled after the little pig?
Topwater frog Walker Parker
That’s a WE Bait from Ohio
Didn’t the Dee and WE baits look almost identical
@@JohnCrews no the WE looked more hand carved. The Dee was more straight cuts with a bandsaw. Both are great baits. You have a great crank right there. Ole CP loved that color
