Nonetheless, I've come to say, I come to let everyone know whoever reads this comment, that Christ is coming soon. God, in His infinite mercy, sent Christ down to be in our place on the cross. We, deserving of death, do not deserve His mercy. We deserve hell because we have broken God's law (The 10 commandments). If you've ever lied, stolen, looked with lust, or even said His name in vain, you will be given a terrible punishment of going to a terrible place called hell. It's because of sin, that we deserve it. God is not only a God of love, but a justful God like we have judges here. He will give you the due penalty you deserve. Being a "good person" will not save you, nor grant you heaven. There is no way to save ourselves. It is as Rom 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is in Christ Jesus our Lord." and Eph 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." However, we can be saved from hell by trusting in Christ like we would with a parachute. Why else would you put on a parachute, if you were in the air? Your motivation would be a fear, that is healthy. So, to put on Christ you must trust in Him alone, like what Rom 10:9-10 says. Not your good works, but in Him alone. Repentance of your sins towards God is necessary too, like what Acts 20:21 says. We do not know when we will die, whether in several years, or today will be the day. Please remember this and take this into consideration.
