Thank you for the deck profile! I can understand the reasons for a lot of these card choices. I personally am going to build the deck more aggro, but I can respect making the deck built around consistency 1st and foremost. One thing I noticed when you were talking about Tidal assault was you mentioning that you could revive it and give it 5k power with the maelstrom order. That's true that you can revive it and give it 5k or 10k power (depending on it being the 2nd or 3rd time you've played the maelstrom order that game) but since the revive and choose a unit to get plus power are two separate skills, you also could revive an inlet pulse dragon and choose the tidal assault to gain the power thus making it a better multi attacker. (ooops, just got to the end of the video during the combo showcase where you mention this, nevermind, my bad!) I haven't had a chance to test my theoretical deck build out yet, but the biggest differences would be as follows- running only one of the maelstrom order to have a search target for theo ride line. Running tidal assault in the ride line (and possibly cutting it from the main deck as a result of always having access to it, but I could still see running it at 3 in the main deck, so I can use maelstrom skill to bring out inlet pulse for drawing cards and still have another rg that can make multiattack) Running Gratias Gradale (persona ride order) as I think it's more important to have persona ride turns with a multi attack deck like this, as if you aren't threatening early, higher powered decks like gandeeva and chronojet would seemingly just run over your value with ever increasing power gain. Tide line dragon definitely staying at 3 or 4 with my heavy focus on persona ride, and then running nectar of sensationalism for the ideal final turn kill, which also makes the tidal assault in soul viable to bring out for multi attack even if we don't have persona ride. Biggest weakness of this build would be not finding persona ride asap, and definitely running out of soul, but I'm hoping inlet pulses and prize tridents will be enough to make up for that. Like I mentioned, I'm not saying I think my build is better than yours shown in the video, and you have a ton more experience with the deck than I, it's just how I want to experiment with the deck currently against my friends and because I like the hyper aggressive turn with nectar of sensationalism basically eating 3 pgs from the opponent with tidal assault alone XD Also, one of my friends was saying that maelstrom is like one of the worst decks currently out in D series so I want to hit him with the "you will pay for your crimes against the aquaforce Navy" anime super turn just because we do this crap to each other XD He still doesn't know I've got the deck ordered and on the way, so I can't wait to see his face when I turn over Maelstrom forerunner randomly in the future.
