When you attached the second black piece to the front part, was it already sewn to the second animal print? It seems like you sewed it by itself?

What under sitching on the anim print side help prevent it from poking out when wearing it on the black side. Or would it be better to top sitch around the whole garment?
Has any one added pockets?
Understitching will help with that issue. Top stitching may be able to prevent it from peeking depending on how you stitch it. Top stitching is more decorative than anything but it can be functional if done correctly.
What purpose do the ribbons serve?
You tie them first in the back to hold the front part closed, then wrap the back part to tie in the front with the wider straps.
Hi there, really stuck with the darts, I can't get the sides to line up once the darts are in, it looks all wrong and I don't know what I've done😮😢
