KIWIPOP, the K-pop label of Kiwi Media Group led by Kim Hung Suk who is one of the best songwriters in South Korea, introduced a girl group GWSN of 7 members with its first episode of the grand world view ‘THE PARK IN THE NIGHT part one’.
The title track ‘Puzzle Moon’ describes that the girls realize their dreams and hopes when the moon-shaped puzzle pieces are brought together and they are going to find their identities. This trendy deep house song created a dreamy mood in a sophisticated way. The contrasting sensuous sound designing and the unique voices of each member made a creative and differentiated dance song of GWSN.

I actually saw them pre debut in myeongdong and hangang park while i was in seoul for vacation and they're so so cute! they stopped us on the street and invited us to their show and afterwards even thanked us for coming. theyre so so sweet! i was following them since them on social media and i am so happy they finally debuted! i love all of them but seokyoung stood out to me the most, she has the biggest smile ever. theyre even more beautiful in real life, i wish them so much success!!

Omg, I was there too! I agree, they're pretty irl. Personally, Anne caught my eye since she kind of looks like Yuju. I died during Miya's BSAT's stage. Unfortunately, they didn't approach me personally, but it was still really cool to see a group with so many different ethnicities. The only take away was the audio system blasting my ears off. xD

It's so rare to find tomboy members in girl groups, the only examples I can think of are Amber from f(x) and Moonbyul from Mamamoo! I'll be stanning them hard for sure!!

Yes, although her outward appearance is read feminine, her personality and behavior is very tomboy. She likes to rap, and does it in a very masculine way. In many of her performances she chooses to wear suits instead of femming it up like the other members. Off stage, you can see that she likes to wear bigger sized t-shirts, blazers, button ups, and other times, ties and snapbacks. If you watch their shows, her movements have this sort of "swagger" that you don't see in other kpop female idols. You can tell that she really enjoys and takes pride in being a tomboy, unlike Twice's Jeongyeon and DIA's Yebin (Once's and Aideul, don't attack me for this, I am a fan of both bands LOL). If you still don't believe me, type up "mamamoo mirror moon" or "moonbyul curtain call" on TH-cam.

0:25 i recently found myself constantly doing this ocean wave hand and foot movement and i couldn’t remember where i got it from. i finally heard this song again and the full choreography finally came back to me. i’m so sad that i comeback to find out that GWSN disbanded. all of these girls have so much to offer. i hope we get to see them again soon. 🩷
The song is ok maybe slightly above average but the visual style of the mv is what really kept me watching there's something interesting about the concept that they're running and i would like to see more of this type of mvs
I agree! I think they were trying to recreate f(x)'s success with '4 Walls' (they even have a tomboy, it's pretty blatant inspiration) but the MV was the best aspect of this debut. I just don't know why they even had a tomboy in there (I think her name is Miya). I like her the most but she has no lines and barely any time on screen, and the song is very cutesy with the high pitched voices. It wouldn't make sense to add a tomboy with a deep male-ish voice in their music. I really liked the choreography though.

I didn't expect much to be quite honest since a lot of nugu groups' music sounds kinda cheap, but this is actually pretty good. The mv is really pretty, the choreo is really interesting and fun in my opinion, the song is good, the outfits are really pretty. I hope that these girls achieve a lot throughout their careers.

GWSN were THAT ahead of the times with their house-centric title tracks. I miss em :( A lot of nugu/underrated girl groups often are the blueprint of trends we see today (ex: Weki Meki’s “Picky Picky” was one of the first high-teen concepts we’ve seen.)

The reason it reminds everyone so much of 4 walls is because it's a genre! It actually reminds me more of Blue Moon, though.
This is a beautiful debut. I'm so glad to not have to hear an abundance of noise as a lot of kpop songs are today. Lots of people are saying the song is boring, but I have to disagree. This song knows what it's doing and anything added in would have sounded weird.
People have to remember that kpop is korean music. Not everything is going to sound as the pop itself does. If this feels boring to you, its probably because the style itself feels boring. Not to mention, we're used to tons of tone changes through a song, because it's such a huge trend in kpop right now. I appreciate the consistancy. Also, the chorus is a bop.

I find this one of the most interesting debuts this year also with LOONA's, (G)-I.D.L.E and Fromis_9 (talking about girl groups, only). It's interesting how they take a lot of already existing formulas, mainly the cute-school girl craze that's been going on for five to six years now, plus the mystic and space odissey alike concepts groups like WJSN, Dreamcatcher, Oh My Girl or SONAMOO have or had (this GWSN perhaps reminds more the main concept of WJSN in this MV), and how the end result is. I find the members eye-catching enough with the small screentime each individual sequence has, just like LABOUM are when they perform live, and their group shots are nice to watch like they were KARA on their golden age and almost as proficient as GFRIEND. Also, how they use the sort of visual narrative Red Velvet, Oh My Girl, Ladies' Code and others have been using in their videos but mixed with the sort you'd see in WJSN videos. I like the result of mixing that. It also has a little bit of what LOONA's individual videos had been showing, the sound too.
I hope people don't sleep in this group, because it's obvious a lot of effort has been put in both the members' training and presence. The song is catchy enough too.
