Man my hard is crying for Rostami. HE fought so hard with that injured knee. I thought this knee is going to explode, but this Rostami ist too long in the game to give tup or surrender. Maximum respect to the man.!!!
I see why Tom Schwartenbach looked so angry on missing his third attempt. He almost got his left knee crushed hard. If you watch the reply he barley gets his knee out from the split stance as the bar is coming down. I would be enraged too if I missed two lists and on the third I ended my career. Good fucking reflex man. 21:37
Yeah!...and that's for sure....even these B squad lifters are enhanced.... I can understand the big picture of the IOC threatening to ban the sport in the Olympics and there's pressure for the IWF to do something, but unless it's state sponsored gearing and it's proven....banning whole countries is over board......
there were some Koreans and Japanese lifters who were not bad, I can't imagine them taking steroids. Do you think in a country where a train that comes 1 minute late is a scandal, (or I remember reading news about a japanese making the horrible crime of stealing some peaches) so do you think those people are capable of cheating? In my point of view japanese/s.koreans succeeding in sport give me hope that you can have a certain level without steroids.
First off, just to set the record straight.... Steroids is not magic, whereas you take it and you're instantly stronger... You have to put in the work...HARD WORK. You use it during prep for recovery from those hard workouts which sometimes are twice a day. These athletes are going full throttle and pushing their bodies to the limits and the body takes a hell of a beating....it's for recovery, so each workout is progressively better and on schedule.....and after all that, yes you will be stronger, but it's the recovery that made it happen..... You are off cycle way before competition and you're working with muscle memory and technique. And for the record again....it's not cheating if everybody is doing it.......and let just say nobody used........the same elite lifters breaking records and winning multiple WWC and Olympics....will still be winning them just without the freak numbers..... I want to see Freak numbers!!!
Mendez and Rostami were the only true A Lifters...... Unfortunately Rostami had a bad day or there would have been a real battle and some great lifting and fantastic entertainment!!!!!
Ahmed Farag yea some people get too sick dropping weight too low so they loose strength. I think the strength is obtainable but forcing the body to goo far too under weight isn’t possible. Some people want to be in closer weight class but loose too much performance.
Yamamoto's cleans are sublime
he frontssquats like 300kg
38:15 I laughed so hard lmao
Why he did that?
Javato C he was injured, so instead of not skipping the attempt, he wanted to have some fun with the crowd
What a beautiful lifts for being injured then. Thanks for the answer!

weightlifting is a joke now. Banning entire countries because some got caught. Everyone performing at this level is on something.
