BIG CONCERNS! Will Our Yurt Hold! This Needs To Be Done Before Rain Season.

- OUR YURT IS NOT WATERPROOF! SERIOUS CONCERNS!
We already had some rain in September and our yurt didn’t hold! There are some spots in need for more attention. One is a big concern because we haven’t figured out where it is leaking!
Will we need to take some things down?
We hope to have our yurt waterproof before the rain comes, because it might not stop for a while.
Also our valley needs a little TLC! We have building materials everywhere (oeps) 😅
So we work on that and then also enjoy life because we love life!

Yes he is! Our neighbour has a pond, he goes there all the time. The other day a friend came over with his dog, Hunter played with that dog and showed the pond 😂😂 So hilarious!

It was! Luckily it is already dry wood, it is way heavier when it is fresh. We do have a trolley but it just doesn’t always make things easier 😅

In a week the seasons are changing, so for now we enjoy this weather. It is green indeed! We had rain in the first three weeks of September and now a nice summer time again. I love it when the mornings are cool and the afternoons still nice and warm! Enjoy your time before winter/snow starts to come! Also a beautiful season ❄️

Uhm would be nice, but we have our goats walking free on our land. So we had milk 😉
We have plans to make fences around the land with valuable vegetation, but we need the soil to be workable. In summer it is too dry to do things like that.
Boa tarde é para lhe dizer que vive cá em Portugal um casal de holandezes que têm uma casa igual à sua e ela nunca teve qualquer tipo de infiltraçoes de agua eu acho que podia perguntar a eles.Nao sei se conhece eles sao muito simpáticos eu tambem vejo os vidios deles. Nao disse nada do problema eletrico por causa do frigorifico. Adorei ver que andaram a nadar num lago é tao bom quando está calor eu tenho sorte porque vivo muito perto do mar.
