We have a auger for a john deere tracked skid steer that is similar to that. It is planatery driven and hard to stop on a 90 horse machine. We have a 8 inch auger on it. Only problem with it was we bent a hexagon shaft extension when it hit a big rock.
So what was the machine in your shop that had flywheels like a hit and miss engine? Maybe a kinetic wood splitter to speed up splitting wood for Hunter's firewood business?
still money to be made with it when you do not have to make extra trips hauling off what you can not run threw the grinder very neat tool in fact i will be showing a friend of mine this as he dose fire wood and gets in to some monster blocks and needs better way to get them broke down to something they can get on the spliter
I bought the same attachment first of the year. It’s Does a nice job. I did add cradle to help control the swinging of the power unit.

That’s going to be a good tool to have in your Arsenal. Send some of that rain to Massachusetts. We need rain bad up here.
That new attachment is great for firewood
Yeah it looks like a rain out here too Tim.
Looks like a handy attachment - appreciate your channel!
I've been eyeing a flail mower or brush cutter for my 57 from those guys. Thanks for the feedback.
Hey Tim I Am Going To Try To Make It To The Looging In Starkville In September Of Next Year To Meet You And Some Other Loggers From Bryer Floyd
Thanks for the info on the Eterra have been looking at the possibilities of it sounds like a good investment in the long run. Thanks
Solsbees in Winston, GA sells those stump planers. I bought one with a 3”hex for less than $900 a couple years ago.
I imagine you would have to pay a good bit more now for that same planer

I love you tree service videos
How easy it for you to switch back and forth between the splitter and the grapple?
About 2-3 minutes.
Mr. Cotton, what would that splitter do to a stump in the ground?
Good stuff Tim👍😎
you could make a planer bit yourself out of a some plate and some tool steel for a cutter
That’s trick with the versatility to run hex or round shaft attachments.
Could you make split rail fence with that thing?
Yeah it would be perfect for that.
Check out Solaris. There cone is way better and you don't need an adapter!😊
A great way to be more efficient. Good for you.
