There is a bakery in downtown Reykjavik called Sandholt that is to die for if anyone is planning on making a trip.

HOW AMAZING! Looks like such a peaceful trip. Ever since I was a kid I’ve wanted to see the northern lights and now I am planning on visiting Iceland as my graduation gift once I get my Masters.
If you ever have the time and money to visit Lapland in Finland in the winter, I couldn't recommend it more for families and small children. You'll have a chance to ride a husky- or a reindeer sled, go snowmobiling and visit the Santa Claus village in the Arctic Circle where Santa speaks many languages to make sure all the visiting children understand him and can tell him their wish list. There are gorgeous igloo-cabins where you can fall asleep under the northern lights :) There are also opportunities to go skiing and hiking up the mountains and visit a sauna too.

For all those saying they want to visit, you can fly wow air. They have lots of deals like $99 bucks one way. Flying there can pretty cheap actually but the cost of everything else is really expensive like food...

i just came back from my trip there too! my boyfriend took me as one of my xmas presents. he planned it based on the fact i always wanted to see the northern lights. We chased them for hours but the weather was cloudy and not a great condition to see them :( so we didnt get to. but it still was amazing, the blue lagoon was so amazingly nice and beautiful. soooo bizarre to have such long hours of darkness, night and morning but it was magical and unique! Loved to see your vlog about it and the things you did there :) x

Does it smell?? I heard it smells because of all the sulfur.
So sometimes it does smell but it's only in certain areas where the geothermal is strong. It's not the entire country that smells like sulfur haha.

Re the sound issues - are you using final cut? Sometimes it slows down the footage a tiny amount which isn’t noticeable except in the sound.
