Very good video. I liked it. I was expecting the tunnel to have a 10 percent decline though inside where speeds would reach 50 mph, but as it was it was still a very unusual ski run. Thanks!
I miss Tunnel run! You did it well on that condition. Hope to cross your lines someday ! Cheers from Haute-Savoie
Hi @Daniel Valero I am going to ski lots of resorts next year on a road trip and will be in the Haute-Savoie area so we might just cross lines.
@@Alexskiing you're very welcome. Just ping me, there is always some beer around
@@scatach14 I will take you up on that :)
Enjoyed that ....not skied for 30yrs and its the conditions in this video I loved most ...Happy memories 😀
This guy is very good. Great sound effects. Even the groomed sounded icy......because it was.
Dangggg you're a great skier
THanks for the compliment!
Good idea doing that with a snowboard...he is still there trying to get home🤣walking!
Why all the dislikes?! Awesome footage and awesome skiing. It's way steeper than it looks on the vid. When I was there folk couldn't even get down the narrow path at the top of the lift next to the viewpoint. I wouldn't risk it. Is that on a Hero 7? Way more stable than anything I get from my 5. 👍👊
Hi @Gosforth Handyman thanks for the comment. I use the Gopro 7 black the Hypersmooth does work really well. Next year I am going to take a 360 VR camera down the tunnel so for the few that have VR headsets they should be able to see the gradient better. 👍👊
I came here assuming it would be an amazing video because TH-cam recommended it to me despite me having never watched a ski video. But it was just average, didn’t live up to expectations that TH-cam gave me. Probably lots of people like me disliked it, and that’s TH-cam’s fault not the skiers fault.

If you didn’t like it, just leave, don’t prevent this guy from getting the exposure he wants just because you were recommended the vid.
Also, if you had never watched a ski video, why the hell did you click on this one?
Thanks for allowing me my fix of skiing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Storm Ciera and no planes landing at Gatwick stole 2020’s holiday from under our noses and our 2021 holiday has been neatly removed by Covid-19
Can you imagine the fun hitting lights off switch at the entrance 😯
I remember my first time in these mountains, failling every 7 seconds.
Is it just me or did the skier breathe in French? Idk 😐🤣🤷♀️🤷♂️
Wtf
Hes dutch
We get snow like that all the time in the NorthEast USA. That run certainly did not look all that difficult. cool vid though. Try skiing the Snowfields at Sugarloaf after a rain and hard freeze. Way more technical than that run.
Ha done both the tunnel is way more technical the video doesn't do it justice
My legs muscles are burning just from watching!
I skied there years ago but not in the tunnel . Alpe d’huez is great . My anty had the flat , what a life .
2:23 are they stuck in the matrix
that tunnel seems to be the no-zone of snowboarding
Be easy, just get good at kicking. Learn to one foot down mellow blue runs and kicking around flat becomes alot easier.
@@Red1676 I used to ride longboards but I never got the snowboard kicking right
WOW. A powerful skier forsure. And really really confident in your skills+equipment.
Hey, thanks for the comment, I appreciate the compliment :)
Pretty crunchy ! I'd say very well skied in those conditions 👌
confidence at its finest
Nice video, but what part of it was dreaded? Looked like green circle city
This snow really is horrible 😂
Nice skiing, sketch conditions
So interesting to see speed.
Damn my legs are burning just watching this run. That ice does sound rough but look at it this way if you learn to ski on ice than skiing on power is that much more of a treat!
Thank you. That was a lot of fun. It looked like the icy conditions in the shadows that Thredbo, Australia often gets. Minus the gumtrees. I appreciate the visual preparation offered for the coming ski season in Australia and New Zealand. Crusty, icy snow offers interesting challenges.
I was just thinking the same. Looked and felt very much like Perisher after no snow and plenty of sun..... hard packed ice!
