Not knowing any fae rules whatsoever, I of course made both mistakes. 😂 However this lesson has made me a bit paranoid now and taught me that if I ever suddenly find myself in a strange place, talking to a stranger... It's probably never a good idea to give them your name.

I'm a druid, i have no idea why everyone is so paniced about this, this is just typical fae behavior.
First question is to ask what court they're from (from what i gather, this is an unseelie fae considering she treats the viewer as a pet and tells us she uses a changeling to take the viewer.)
In such, make reference to the moon and stars, it *is* recommended to politely decline food and drink, however if it is offered multiple times you should take it as a sign of respect. Names are a very powerful thing, and unseelie fae are known for taking names and using them very liberally, only give fae your name if you are *absolutely* sure you can trust them.
Other than that, understand that the fair folk are called such for a reason, and while they are generally pleasant when in good spirits, they are volatile and sometimes frightening to those caught off guard.
It is always wise to befriend the fae, it is not always wise to actively seek them.
My absolute favorite part is when the fae is just confused about how little humans actually need. "Were you living in squalor?" Is just a funny line that 😂😂

They curse the lighting cuz they want you to lose the track of time while you are shoping there it also helps to keep your shopping habits non related to time of day, by making it so you don't get diferent vibes of the place based on time of day. When you enter the supper merket its like you are on TVA from loki.
Another measure they implement is toshopping carts, so you don't stop shopping when things get to heavy for you to carry. A third one it to have the shelfs in a desorienting system, again so you get lost and wander around the shop looking at things until you fool youself into beliving you need more stuff then you actully do.
They do a bunch of other things like serving food so you get hungry and buy more, use weird promotion and complex pricing and discount systems so you brain gets tired and stops thinking leting you go into autopilot were you have no impulse control.
