- We built a wooden flower stand and set it up for the first time a few weeks ago! Was it a sellout? Watch to find out.
In this video I take you behind the scenes to show you making cut flower bouquets to sell. I also talk through what I did when I didn't have enough focal flowers for bouquets. We also show you a tiny bit of how we built our flower stand and how the first flower sale of the year went.
If you're thinking of starting a flower stand, watch this video for some helpful tips.
Love how you present your beautiful bouquets, black stripes against the flowers is stunning
Another wonderful video! Thank you so much!!
I could watch your garden shots all day. Simply beautiful.
Glad you’re back. Your garden is beautiful as are your bouquets.
What a beautiful video, garden and bouquets. It's amazing to see such tall flowers, such as the Sweet Williams!
It’s my first time growing them, so wasn’t sure what to expect! I’m happy with them, too.
So happy to see a video from you! I think that I should just watch your videos one after another...they are so peaceful and fill me with such joy. Your flower stand looks perfect! Your husband did a wonderful job, but the stand would be lost without those beautiful bouquets! Thank you once again for sharing with us another beautiful video.
Thankyou for your kind words. ❤️🥺
Beautiful! I love your gentle style.
Love the bouquets and happy for your successful stand sales. Could you please mention the names/varieties of flowers you are using while assembling them?
Thanks for the suggestion!
Your garden is beautiful and so serene! I wonder if you would share where you sourced the black and white stripe paper/wrap from? I am so glad you are back!
I love your garden and Myron did a good job hammering out your flower stand. I think your sells were great for a small rural area! The videos that you and your sister have made have encouraged me. Where in Arkansas did you move to? I live about 1 hour west of Texarkana. I grow in zone 8 and since I bought land it’s sometimes discouraging because I don’t have my normal organic matter this year. Are you missing your family yet?
Your husband did an awesome job on the stand!!! Think I saw your instagram photo on your pricing - would suggest you raise your prices to at even numbers eg $10, $20, $30. Nothing less than $10!
Thanks for the tip!
"Wide spot in the road" 😅 as a NC rural resident there are a few wide spots in the road around here as well 🤩😂
Congratulations on your flower stand - your arrangements are GORGEOUS!!
Welcome to Arkansas! I run a small backyard flower farm in Northwest Arkansas. 😊❤
Thank you! Do you have instagram? Always looking for more growers in our corner of the world.
@@rootdesigncompany I do! It’s @bakerstreetblooms! 🤍
Goodness! Your garden is amazing!! :)
Red white and blue fower bouquets are what sell on 4th of july.
People like them on the picnic table or at a bar b que.
Yes, I did a red white and blue option for Memorial Day, too!
You've grown a gorgeous garden. Your videos are always my favorite, along with those of your sister. The photography is really beautiful, and you have such an easy way in front of the camera. I’m glad your flowers stands were a success.
Thankyou ❤️
So nice to see that you are getting back into the groove after having to ‘restart’. Gorgeous bouquets and garden😊😊
It’s good to get back in the groove, even if it’s taking a while. 😅 Thank you!
I’m so happy to have found you again. I always loved the videos with you and your sister.
Happy to see you are back doing what you love. Congratulations on a successful first few flower stand offerings. It is adorable by the way. 🌷💗🌻
PS is it too late to keep planting sunflowers in your area?
No, I planted some this week and have more on order to plant. 😁
Beautiful bouquets, how good is your garden this year, great variety of flowers that create your well crafted arrangements. I understand it doesn’t happen by accident, but years of experience, thank you for sharing with us. Special orders will come rolling in soon enough.
Thank you for your kind words. ❤️❤️
Loove this video! I would really like to know the flowers that you have in your bouquet! Thank you!
Love it! The flower stand is adorable! Turtle had a nice cameo too :) blessings from Ontario Canada
AMAZING!!!!!!!TY
Beautiful! Lots of luck on your garden stand!
Wow! i love your flowers stand and the garden tour was really appreciated. I love it :)
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing🩷
Greetings from Oz 🇦🇺🙂🌻
Love, LOVE seeing your garden and design work. So great to hear from you!
Was so happy to see your video....have missed you ladies. Beautiful garden and bouquets....thank you for sharing!
Your garden is a dream!
Such beautiful bouquets! Loved the garden tour. ❤
Thank you so much!
Your garden looks amazing!!!! What color is that sweet William??? And what is that white flower with the little puffs on a longer stem? Arkansas has a really long growing season … looks like you are taking advantage of that :) Your flower stand is adorable also!!! Trying not to play the Comparison game
Aw, thanks. The Sweet William is the Neon Rose variety. No garden and no flower stand is perfect… mine certainly isn’t. It has been a beautiful Spring for growing things here in Arkansas, so that helps. My hubby gets all the credit for the stand.
So lovely 💕
Beautious! Good to see you! Awesome development.
gorgeous
Great video. So inspiring 😊
Beautiful video. ❤
12k...Very nice work...I have subs
Simply love florals and tour! And youre able to grow rhubarb! I’ve been unsuccessful in old zone 8b.
I expected more of a challenge with the rhubarb than I got! Started it from seed in January and transplanted out in March, I think. I covered it with frost cloth when it got really cold but otherwise left it alone. 🤷🏻♀️
Finally after 20 years of trying my rhubarb is3 ft tall❤
Plant in mostly/dappled shade in the south❤
@@tracycrider7778 what are your tips for success? Do you know your soil ph? I’m thinking this is sobering I may need to adjust. Ants eating the roots are also something I combat.
@@rootdesigncompany I’ve only grown it sucessfully as an annual, in full shade. What type of soil do y’all have?
Question: At 6:50 in the video you were cutting pink/mauve looking zinnias.... what was the name or color of that one? I grow mostly purple and lilac but I love that one. Also, there was a pinkish/purple snapdragon you used in your spring bouquets I loved too. If you happened to have the name for that too? Loved the tour of your garden and seeing all the delicate flowers. Thank you for sharing!
That pink/mauve one is a rogue zinnia in the white zinnia patch. I’m not sure if I mixed a Bennarys Giant Wine seed in myself or if it came in the packet. 🤷🏻♀️ So I’m not sure on the name. And the snapdragon is Potomac Lavender, a good variety for all season growing.
Your bouquets are so pretty and delicate. I love the little blue flowers, what are they?
Your arrangements are truly stunning!!! I have always loved your work. May I ask what type of mulch you put on your flower beds? Thank you for the tour. Happy spring and God Bless.
We use a combination of composted leaves and a fine, broken down bark mulch. (The bark mulch is because we ran out of leaves) 😁
@@rootdesigncompany thank you! We never have enough leaves at our house.
We get ours from the city leaf dump.
@@rootdesigncompany duh, I never thought of that!!! Great idea
Can you grow calla lilies where you are in Arkansas? They come in lovely fuchsias and purples.
I’m not sure, but I’m guessing we could.
