As far as I know apple introduce the display wih notch to utilize the space in the upper part of the display where in the battery indicator, signal indicator and notifications are located. When it came out their first iphone that has notch, some android manufacturer also the same and eventually they came up an idea of developing a borderless less display.

@@Variable_Degree_Series my iPhone 6s from 2015 used still worked pretty much spotless until iOS 14 and Its not really slow all the time. Just occasionally glitches out. And surprising it actually survived multiple drops and one time I was running and it fell out of my jacket pocket and slid like 10 feet from where I was and there was just a few scratches. It’s screen eventually broke but it’s still working. Hopefully I can get a newer iPhone tomorrow.

I disagree with the camera part bc when I go to my camera app on my Samsung, there's this thing that pops up saying to clean my camera lens, even though it's clean.

@@gusp380 Yeah, my cousin and my aunt have the Samsung Note 8. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is my dad's old phone. We connected it to my phone number from my previous phone. It's only about 2 years old. I've only had it since March. For some reason my phone screen is a very light pinkish color but it only shows up on white backgrounds (It's very annoying), again the camera, and apparently someone else was trying to connect their phone to my phone bc I was in the car (This was a few days ago) and I was watching a movie on my Netflix app (I was wearing headphones) and every 10 - 15 seconds this thing kept popping up saying something about a connection. I was yelling at my phone "DAMN IT LET ME WATCH MY DAMN MOVIE!" My phone can be, what I like to call "Shit-tastic." I should've stuck with my previous phone. Too bad I gave it to my mom bc her old phone was broken. But she needed a new phone. She was actually yelling at me bc I was showing her how to use my old phone. Idk why she did that, I was trying to be nice and helpful. I really shouldn't have said this to her, but she was kind of complaining about the phone and I said "You're lucky to even have a phone!" She yelled at me even more and saying that this generation is messed up and that I don't deserve a new phone (She knew I was asking for the iPhone xr for Christmas) Even though she knows my current phone is messed up. I'm not trying to sound or be spoiled, but the only reason I'm asking for a new phone is bc my current phone is a little messed up. She did apologize to me later on about yelling at me. I still don't know why she was yelling at me for no apparent reason.

just buy a budget android like a m50 or a pixel 4a and you'll spend so little money that you can buy a ps5/ series X and only spend 850$, and if you reeeally want to save money you can buy a pixel 3a that's famous for having excellent battery life and camera quality for 250$(maybe 150-200$ now, idek) and buy your gaming pc/console
