Ahh the good ol days. They were having the time of their lives keep in mind they were like, late teens early 20's here, kids having fun and getting rich.
Who was in their 20s when Korn was on top of the world and now is watching on 2020 Quarantine year of nightmare, reviving cool times when MTV was around ._. Internet is the only good thing of this times but is killing rock & metal, I just pray for this virus epidemic to end to go back to have live concerts, with some luck We get to watch Korn, Slipknot, MM, Linkin Park again, please God!!
i never got to live that time it must have been amazing for the kids of that time to come back from school and watch short films of koRn in their golden age i am so envious of all of them
God I remember getting the Australian Limited Edition version of Follow the Leader (I'm in the UK), and it had this on it. I was blown away! Back in the days when there was no TH-cam, and there was only Who Then Now on VHS and Family Values to be able to see Korn whenever you wanted (and anything recorded off MTV). I watched it to death!!!
22:24 I have to say, that riff from It's On got incredibly better with that second guitar melody, it would be amazing to see it played in the final version and live.
I remember this well, trying to get the Enhanced CD from FTL to run on my 1999 PC was a nightmare. The lag and buffer was unbearable so I just gave up. Now 24 years later I'm finally watching the whole thing.
Just re watched this since ‘98. I can’t believe I streamed all of this in my computer class. Only if my high school knew I would have been suspended for sure. Unbelievable smh lol
Getting the Aussie release of FTL in the UK in 99 was amazing as it had this video on it. I watched it to death! It was my third copy of FTL, and I'd say that every version of it should have had this video.
unlike these days when everyone just looks at their phones, people actually talked to each other back then.. like humans actually had to interact, thats why you find it weird
I was the perfect age when this was going on... I remember I was 15 or 16 when they did this... took like 10 hours to download some of these shitty clips. I remember the first one where they were playing It's On and but I also remember them playing the Earache by Eye riff and I didnt see it here
"After-school specials". Yes, coming home from school with an LSD blotter purchased from a vendor at school for only $5, without the danger of dying from a random accidental OD.
Haha damn I clicked on it just to see what it would take me to. I don't even know wtf is going on, on that page. Some shit I definitely don't understand. lol
Ahh the good ol days. They were having the time of their lives keep in mind they were like, late teens early 20's here, kids having fun and getting rich.
I hear you! Life is a crazy journey. You rock!
they were around 27-28 years old actually
They weren’t in their late teens bro. Mid 20s if anything.
Bro they were like 28 at this time lol
Watching this footage makes me so happy. I wasn’t even born yet. My soul is sunk beneath the 90s
Noah Brewer , the history is worth saving.
It’s KoRn or nothing. They’ve saved more lives than MCR has.
Noah Brewer , can’t disagree with that at all
THIS IS THE MOST RAW KIND OF PREACHING EVER!
Noah Brewer , “Are You Ready?”
I’m 13 and Korn rocks! Everyone thinks I’m a 40 year old dad lol 😂
Funny
Good taste bro...keep it up, my gf kids listen to starset, blah
@@danthemansrepreviews5644dude starset rocks tf are you on abt
No one cares how old you are. It’s not illegal to like music that came out before you were born, nor does it make you badass.
@@Rountree1985 clearly you cared enough to comment my guy 😂
Watching this as a 12 year old back in 98 was just a slideshow with audio. Still awesome.
Same with me.I was 14 in 98
Trying to stream this shit on RealPlayer with a dial-up modem. The pure mid to late 90's experience.
hell yes
They should still do this show
Zot the destroyer agreed
They are now
Zot the destroyer they are doing 2.0, sort of
KS Highlights :)

interviewer: right on
The 90s give me so much good vibes. I wish I was alive to experience it.
it sucked let me tell ya
it was the shit. i was born in 80. was a teenager in the 90s. a different time for sure. i miss it
It wasn't that great, it was pretty cringe.
I can't believe some of these comments, 90s was waaay better, concerts were a experience, now, no crowd surfing no mosh pits ,nada
Same.
I legit used to watch this after school!
the90sguy ; awesome
@@thekornreeper good times!
Ben Harry legit
If I had access to this as a kid. My mind would of literally been blown

I fell in love with this band. JD makes me feel like I can make I can make it. Fucking love them
That Steve Vai jam was really good. It should have been on the FTL album or have Steve collaborate on a song.
i agree. I LOVE it :)
I swear to God, Ron Jeremy is JD's long lost uncle... their resemblance is UNCANNY. especially when JD is rocking the moustache
The Wedge , that is true.
This was my teenage years. The day blind was played I was hooked.
:) nice 👍🏼
Same here, I was 14
i never got to live that time it must have been amazing for the kids of that time to come back from school and watch short films of koRn in their golden age i am so envious of all of them

The guy was sure obsessed with the fact that they drank.
Thanks a lot for posting this. Big nostalgia trip back to my bedroom as a 12 year old watching this from the FTL bonus disc.
Brad James , keeping the history alive :)
my "real media player" never played videos properly back then. so i missed all this. they were certainly ahead of the curve.
12:19 They wrote Life is Peachy in 2 days? WOW
pretty much, yes
Was actually 2 months..... But that is all songs written arranged recorded mixed n produced in 2 months, so that's still pretty damn quick
It sounds like it, lol
Damn I'm from early 2000's I miss these days, I'd like so much to see what it was like to witness the beginning of these bands
This was 1998, around the time FTL was out on the market or due out.
The 90s the music was awesome! The best part of my teens years was the music. Got me through a rough childhood.
22:24 I have to say, that riff from It's On got incredibly better with that second guitar melody, it would be amazing to see it played in the final version and live.
Why couldn't I be alive for this, I would go batshit crazy over this if I was around then
I miss the late 90s so much.
I'd be spending that amount to get drunk too if I was drinking light beer....
Those days an epic amount of alcohol consumption by the band. And some other bad stuff too lol.
Deuce DVD Munky said they spent $27k on alcohol!!!
This crap would NOT load back in the day lol
The Scripflip Network , the struggle was and still is real.
56K modems /AOL struggle was real... Kids these days DON'T UNDERSTAND!
Yes i came here to say this!!!!!! It never worked for me with my dial up aol internet lol
@@mikabass lol dude, it feels great to know I wasn't alone in this

They're all my favorite, I can't choose

I dog , I was but I was pretty young, I feel old a lot now. Hehe
Jon mailbombing is fucking legendary
Yes
Wish I was born in the 90s
Great decade :)
I think it’d be better to be born in the 80s so you’re a teen/becoming an “adult” in the 90s, know what I mean
Getting the Aussie release of FTL in the UK in 99 was amazing as it had this video on it. I watched it to death! It was my third copy of FTL, and I'd say that every version of it should have had this video.
Hell yeah :)
I spend a thousand dollars a week on myself at home...you dont gotta lie to kick it ha ha. Always loved that.
Definitely
even steve vai says they dont need to solo
true
"We want to tour with Beastie Boys, but they don't like us."
"But why?"
"Cause we're black." 😂

Do you have the full episode with Ron Jeremy? Looking for when Matt Zane dropped in.
People who interview rockstars are probably the biggest wannabes in the world.
perhaps
dunno. sometimes it looks pretty fun
right on
I accidentally discovered this when I popped my issues CD into my PC DVD drive 🤓
You guys what's the song that's playing at 0:28 called
its on. its off of ftl
The music mostly holds up I guess, but they way we used to talk, look, and act . . . _ouch_ that shit's hard to watch 😆😳
unlike these days when everyone just looks at their phones, people actually talked to each other back then.. like humans actually had to interact, thats why you find it weird
