Arsenal would be crazy to buy him for the money being talked about. He's nearly 30.. I thought he was much younger than that. If he was 27 at most it might be justified. But paying 60+ million for maybe 3 years is crazy
If he bags Arsenal 20 goals a season it could be the difference of winning the league or even champions league. Arsenal need quality this second. Sesko would be a better signing in the long term but Arsenal need quality now
@lordzeus1773 Watkins has never scored 20 goals in a season before, his highest is 19 in a team he has played in for years. Is that going to instantly transfer to a new team, we don't know / doubt it. It's not that he isn't a good player but the prices talked about are mad.

Why would Arsenal buy Watkins now? Arsenal probably wont win PL this season. They will probably finish within within he CL places. So i don't think Watkins will impact how they place in the PL and he cant play in the CL for Arsenal this season because he has already played for Villa.
