Hey guys! I wanted to thank you so so much for all the love and wonderful comments!! Here's a couple of questions I've received and wanted to share it with everyone just in case you were curious. Love you guys! 💕 Q: How many clothespins did I use to make one of them? A: I used 74 of them in total Q: How much are all three of the embroidery hoops? A: I purchased all three for $4.47 at Hobby Lobby (Also, they have a 40% coupon on their website) Q: Where did you get your headboard? A: I purchased it a few years ago off of Target's website. They have so many options. I was so surprised!
Such a cool idea. Love it! We did a collab where one of the ladies used the clothes pins to make a wreath and I was in awe. These came out so beautiful and high end.
Wow - amazing. I would never have thought of using clothespins for such a project because it is actually quite beautiful. It has a natural rustic shabby-chic look and the possibilities on color and adding other elements are just endless. I think it would look beautiful on a front door as an alternative to a wreath. Nicely done, Treshja - you never disappoint with your creativity and instructions. Have a great weekend.
Just last week I bought 4 pkgs. of clothespins from my neighborhood $ tree..I plan on making a napkin holder and ''fans'' for my walls...I also use acrylic paint and stain for them. Thanks 4 sharing this vid with us! God Bless!
Debora could you please tell me how you made your napkin holder and fans please It sounds awesome and I would love to give them as gifts this Christmas I am a senior and on a very low income and this sounds wonderful to make and give as gifts for this coming Christmas I appreciate your help with this and take care and God Bless. 🤗
LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Will be making we all need inexpensive wall art and this is perfect they can look modern or rustic just depending on the color you decide to paint.
Beautiful as always. You need a DIY TV show. I've never seen anything that you have ever done that I didn't like. Very smart crafty lady. You always make everything look high-end but very affordable.!!! Great work
This is sweet! Since the design kind of resembles a sun or a flower, I'm imagining it decorating our patio close to the garden, and in different colors. 💙Tfs 💜
I love this! I just may have to try it, mainly because lately I'm tired of my bedroom decor, and this looks just like the kind of project I can handle by myself! Thank you.
Beautiful with or without the mirror! I was thinking, if we wanted, we can also add different things to decorate it and make different variations....or leave it as is, either way its beautiful! Thanks for sharing Tresha!
Hi Treshaja! I LOVE Your DIY Sunbursts with the clothespins. I wonder how the Sunbursts would look with a copper color and Dollar Tree bling covering up the springs, to disguise the clothespins. Thank You!
Tresha, you are so creative. I definitely will be trying this. I like the look without the mirror, but will try adding a mirror to one of them just to see if I like that look better. Looking forward to your next video.
Interesting idea. I can see these rings being used to dress up a laundry room with some color, too. If you take some vinegar, add in some steel wool and then allow the mixture to combine in a mason jar to make a stain, it works very well on this type of wood used in clothes pins. Add a drop or two of Hydrogen Peroxide to that stain mixture and it will darken the stain. It goes on fairly clear, but when dried it turns a wonderful brown and highlights the wood very well. It is used by folk who do pallet wood creations all the time. Thanks for sharing the video and idea.
a1930ford Excited about the stain idea you just talked about, had no idea that was how it was done. So you simply drop in a piece of steel wool into the vinegar? What a cool and simple process! :O) Thank you for sharing your idea!!
Tresha!!! Seriously girl?!? Your DIY's are always amazing! I'm definitely using this to dress up my laundry room!!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful creativity!
Wow, that's beautiful . . . never would have thought to do this with clothespins. I just bought an emboidery hoop the other day . . . guess I'll be going back for more . . . lol. TFS Tresha!!
