Hey Sherm,Just a tip get an engineer to place at mines on the road in order to disable the tanks since the AI in the game generally uses roads. You could use them in offensive missions as well by preventing or delaying enemy reinforcements
Great Video again. 41:16 German manuelles actually described it. If the Infantry man is trained and determined he will most likely win one on one against the tank. Imagine a relative slow moving and bulky tank behind enemy lines with no infantry support and you get a geballte Ladung on the engine deck or an AT mine under the tracks. The tank is now stuck and maybe on fire. The safety of the tank is gone and the crew is vulnerable. Still I wouldn't like to be a soldier on the ground, tank-crew or not.

hopefully we can customize the tanks ourselves in the future for example, customize tanks with an outer camouflage color and earn certain points, such as top machine guns, side armor, being able to add sandbags to tanks, and putting grass
and I also think that if more countries add their armies, they will succeed (not just America, Russia, Japan and the UK, for example) they can also put various legions that historically served in the war (they may have special characteristic structures and weapons) for example, Ukrainian legions, tatar and Turkic legions, partisans and Polish resistance fighters

At 38:20 you have a better way for protect your mortar it's to put sandbag inside the mortar (not to the crews) and click on the icone for build heavy sandbag wall protection round around the entity. It's work for Guns, MG etc... It depend of number of sandbags you have inside also maybe... You can maybe also do the 2. A large foxhole + big sandbag wall. ^^
24:45 Sherm have you tried smoke in Mowas2? It blocks aiming for both AI and your direct control. You could try firing through but it blocks your reticule like it's an actual wall. I'd say smoke worked before :)

I love this game, the feel and scale of it. I try to taper off with some MoW but it's a temporary relief. Maybe I like it too much since I found myself yelling at the screen "Flank them -- toggle your infantry to move at will and F5 enemy flanks, bring over the mortar and bomb them to kingdome come, directly control that t34 and face the firing panzer, check your supply crate for repair kits :)) One thing I will do is to mod the veterancy boni for infantry and tankmen - make the hardened veterans progressively more resilient, accurate and deadly (increased health and health regeneration, stamina and accuracy for small arms and heavy machinery). That would be even more immersive for a conquest campaign - imagine having some men of truly great valor and skill that can turn the tide of any battle through sheer baddassery. You'll learn their names and imagine their stories and tribulations -- part of the single-player fun. Can hardly wait for this game, God give me patience :))

I never found smoke to be as good as in GoH
Pz4 d is a great attacker and can be used in place of an assault gun carriage, great for busting fortifications and light/medium vics

Another cool thing to do is dig a foxhole facing backwards and then put your MG (such as the maxim in this mission) in it to give it extra cover.
