As always love watching your reaction, that cute aggression over Mina's beauty is very relatable. the vocal melodies of the song was on point! and I absolutely love the animated scene where they added the muffled underwater voice filter with underwater SFX and ambient wave sounds gave me goosebumps!! overall the song is easy to listen to, wholesome, heartwarming and its just a song that you cant hate or be mad about, like you said its a warm hug

I'm a fan of The 1975's music and I can see the comparison. Interestingly, one of the writers for this song is Daniel Seavey who was/is a member of the American boy band, Why Don't We and he released his first solo album last year.
It was laid back and chill and there is nothing wrong with that at all. Every Human needs to take time to relax sometimes. No group or Idol or Soloist should ever be expected to GO HARD and be a WORLD-STOMPING BADASS 100% of the time. Without variation in the music, that sound would become stale. Let the ladies breathe for a bit. It looked like a nice dreamy vacation (after the storm had cleared, obviously). Besides, this is the Pre-Release...what do they have up their sleeves for us next? :)
i typically don't like this sound in general either, but i'm a sucker for the 80s influence so this one won me over. also the mv made me transcend lmao :') i've been a fan of the 1975 since i was 13(11 years ago jfc) and this definitely gives off those vibes. so excited for the title track!!

The LOW vocal moments are likely Momo's (I am about 90% certain it's her but it COULD be Dahyun...). Momo and Dahyun were dancing and singing alongside each other in two moments of the MV and one of those moments later included the entire group standing in a circle. That musical vibe really is a 1980's throwback so I agree with you about The 1975. That's pretty accurate, they are pretty good.
