I'm so reluctant to clean up my Christmas decor. It feels like the holiday magic is going away 😅 But seeing your clean up your home, and reset it back to a calming space gives me peace. Love to see that you have quite a few plants in your home ❤ I am also not a good plant mom and am struggling to choose which indoor plants to keep. Hopefully spring will be here soon. Happy New Year!
Happy new year! I would love to keep xmas decor a bit longer but it was time to move on and start dreaming about spring 😊 our climate here is really dry specially in winter and on a good day we only get 4-6 hours of day light. On summer we have the opposite problem… too much day light 😄. I only buy plants that doesn’t require a lot of humidity and can tolerate low to medium light. Faux plant is an option and I have a couple but no matter how realistic they look, plastic is plastic and they don’t give that “environmental benefits” that real plants do. Both kinds have their own pros and cons 😉
Same here! While I really love xmas and all the cozy decor, the end of festivities can feel deflating and resetting our space and having that sense of renewal helps to bring some excitement back and start looking forward to spring 😊
