    Awesome video, since i started POD journey about 6 months ago and getting very close to the 500 design mark. ive learned that there are 2 people in this game.
    Those who upload less than 20 designs and walk away check on there 1 account in a month.
    OR ( there is no in between)
    those who spend day and night making new designs, doing research, and Photoshop never closes on there computer, and have accounts on every possible platform there are and at one point or another have been suspended by Etsy lol, and need videos like this to save time because i agree. manually doing things is
    the worst thing ever. i want to start making a steady number of $$$ so i can scale it x2 or x4 so i can afford these programs. but till then il keep manually grinding till i get there.

Can you tell me how many designs did you upload before you made your first sale? and what's a reasonable average monthly income? I have not been able to find the solution for spreadshirt design rejection issue (even after sending them screenshots). Let me know if you have gone through it.

  • @StudioMetzger

    You should look into developing a tool to add to your AutomatePOD that scales the titles and descriptions also. That is the most time consuming for me. Sort of like how VAR1 gets replaced to create hundreds of PNGs. You use tags to replace words in the spreadsheet. So like tag1 would be maybe niche (golf, bowling, etc), tag2 might be place where nice would happen (golf course, bowling alley, etc), tag3 maybe related action (golfing, bowling, etc). So after running the design scale tool then a person could run the description scale tool to make a spreadsheet ready to use with other tools that do listing automation.

  • @TGWLOL
    @TGWLOL 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Also On Flying Upload You Don't Have To Use A Spreadsheet. You Can Simply Use Their Interface Where They Allow You To Add Title And Description Plus Tags. Used It To Upload To Redbubble

      I saw a video that said that Adobe spark was pretty easy to use and not as feature Laden as some of the other graphics programs that would make it more difficult to learn.
      There is also place it.net which is pretty easy to use and of course there's photopea
      that integrates with Ryan's pod software for generating hundres of designs.
      Ryan did a video on using photopea and also another coordinating the two.
      POD makers also have design tools that are pretty essy to use. Teespring doesn't allow you you to download and save your design which prevents you from using your design on other POD sites

    Hi Ryan, great content as always! Quick question: Can you share with us which apps you use to get breaking news? I know you use Pushbullet to sync your phone with your laptop. However, there's a lot of apps out there that deliver breaking news, so it's tough to pick. For instance, ,there's Flipboard, AP Mobile, Bundle News, etc. Can you let us know which "breaking news" apps you personally like to use? Thanks so much!

    • @RyanHoguePassiveIncome

      I don't use any news apps exclusively for POD purposes, I only use apps where I care about the news headlines (usually sports). The only app I use explicitly for "monitoring" purposes, unrelated to POD is CNN because I like to see what propaganda/mind control is being spewed out to the masses (PS I'm not politically charged, I'm just genuinely curious because we live in such strange times)

    I haven’t started yet but the automation tool for merchtitans looks very interesting. I’m not sure if it’s something that’s ideal at the beginning because of the tiered system for Amazon and the fact that Redbubble is a little more specific with a store. I’ve looked at some of the other websites in the past but don’t recall much about them at this time. thanks for the video Ryan. I'm just starting this POD journey. I haven't opened my redbubble store yet. I'm working on my designs and will sign up for red bubble and then eventually zazzle, teepublic etc... My computer skills are not that great. I'm a bit intimidated by these POD automation tools. I was watching another video and the guy was explaining that you need to type all your design tags, and descriptions on a spreadsheeet and from there upload them to the automator and from there to the POD platform of your choice. It seemed like a very long process but of course, I know that they do save time because experts like you recommend them and because they must get the job done because they're expensive. I guess my question is. Can a person like me with "limited" computer skills still operate these automators? I will search for more of your videos on how to actually operate these automators. I would love to take your paid course but I'm on a budget. I have just purchased the Canva yearly subscription and other tools. I hope I can buy your course in the near future. Stash up a bunch of designs and then use one or the trial versions to upload them . After the trial expires, go to another trial version, and so on. You will get your designs up there and On sale in bulk, in which case you should be generating sales. Once you start doing that, you can buy one of them. As Ryan keeps saying sometimes you have to invest something to get ahead, after all your time is worth something as well. Are you better off uploading designs Manually, or using that time to create some?

    But will these POD automation tools also optimize each listing for each product? That's a dealbreaker for me.

    can anyone suggest some free tools for designing POD. I spent time looking for some free tools but nothing seems to work really well as the quality is not satisfactory. i really am broke right now socan't afford paid tools.

    These tools are cool, but too expensive, except for podconnect, which doesn't have many integrations :(

    I tried to sign up for your free POD mini course and got this message "Different Address Needed
    You cannot subscribe to this list with the email address you entered.
    Please correct any mistakes in the address and try to subscribe again.
    If you see this message again, please use a different email address to subscribe."
    I"m using my same email address for years, and yes I did put it in correctly. I tried it more than once, so I don't know what's up.
    Any reason why it doesn't like my email address?

      Any chance you have a different email? I use a company called AWeber to host my email list. Not sure what the issue is, if you still have trouble, shoot me an email and I'll get it fixed for you 👍

      @@RyanHoguePassiveIncome So I did sign up under a different email, but it's like sending things to a black hole. I have to remember to check that email which I seldom do. The first email was a gmail account. I don't know if that made a difference.

    not very useful for me, outside of USA, must use VPS to open redbubble, so the software won't work for me, if they have page version, maybe better.

    Do you have a video about copyright strikes from Disney? I've always done fairy tale art. Its my main thing. I recently uploaded an original painting of Rapunzel in the tower to Redbubble. Its from 2001! Disney commanded them to take it down! I never do fan art, I haven't seen a Disney film since childhood so I had to search for a Disney Rapunzel film. Its called Tangled and the art is nothing like mine! These are on other sites, no problem. I dont think they have any right to do this because Grimms Fairy Tales is public domain and ny art us nothing like theirs. Any thoughts? I fdont want to tangle with Disney, but I want to sell this image online, and now i don't know....Will I run into this on another pod platform?

    I spent a week trying to make pod connection upload even one design on my Mac and it ultimately never happened. Unreliable tool. I had my husband who is a software engineer help me too. Big issue is they switch you to chromium to login to your print partners which didn’t make it better. Free trial is only three days just remember. Looking into flying uploads.

    • @TheDuddelle
      @TheDuddelle 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m really hoping flying uploads works out. Merch Titans and turbo are more than I can afford. It takes so long to upload one design to one platform the manual way and it never gets much faster especially with the Etsy thumbnails. It’s no way to live! I don’t know why anyone would start in print in demand without a beginner automation. God help us all make it happen.
