can someone explain what exactly makes the ocean un swimmable at times?
Why cant you go in the beach to swim ?,that just makes me not go

Am from Ethiopia ,east Africa ,planning to come.
To answer all of the ocean questions … sewage contamination… it smells pretty bad too. I have dual citizenship here and Panama city is known for these non swim-able areas. Not all places but mainly near the large skyscrapers. I’d rather go to the country side of panama for a more authentic experience…
