  • Join us for an immersive walking tour through one of Cairo's liveliest districts, Al Azbakia Market, just before sunset. This bustling marketplace has been a hub for locals and tourists alike for centuries, offering everything from traditional Egyptian foods and spices to handmade crafts and souvenirs.
    As we stroll through the narrow streets, our senses will be overwhelmed by the colorful sights, sounds, and smells of the market. We'll see vendors haggling with customers over prices, street performers entertaining the crowds, and locals going about their daily routines.
    We'll also visit some of the district's most iconic landmarks, including the historic Al Azbakia Palace and the famous Mosque of Al Azbakia. As the sun sets over Cairo, the market transforms into a vibrant nighttime scene, with colorful lights illuminating the shops and vendors selling their wares late into the evening.
    Whether you're a seasoned traveler or simply curious about Egyptian culture, this walking tour is an experience not to be missed. So come along with us and discover the magic of Al Azbakia Market at sunset.

    What an interesting and vibrant district, just the kind I like, with a surprise around every corner. I haven't been for 10 years, so it was a real pleasure to be reintroduced to it. Well filmed footage too. Good to connect with you fellow walker.

    I'm physically exhausted just watching this. Haven't been in such chaotic environment for over a quarter century. I don't think I can cope with this after 20 mins. Imagine if we had footages of the interactions in markets from 4000 years ago. These clips are going to be invaluable when people would watch them a 1000 year from now. What's with the occasional burkas? I didn't know they were popular in Egypt! I guess Egypt still has a lot of Salafis.

    • @4KWorldWandering
      @4KWorldWandering  ปีที่แล้ว

      Right! I have wondered what AI imagery we will be able to render soon, and how we'll be able to take massive historical writings coupled with artwork of the era to create some blissful tours of those historic locations.

      Thanks Aussie, you couldn't be more correct. On the pilgrimage through Mount Sinai, I was joined with Arabs from around the world, Jews from Israel, and Christians from America all there to visit the shared spot Moses received the message from God.
      While the Qur'an doesn't place Joshua by name with Moses, it is believed that Yusha bin Nun (Joshua) was the "attendant" of Moses mentioned in the Quran before Moses meets Khidr.
