Since many people asked, I will make a in-depth guide video to show u how to play this build.

- Penetration sits at 8k because Minor Breach and Flanking Passive isnt visible on the stat sheet
- I am using minor brutality poisons on the Stygian build

Ive done a small mistake in the Video, when evaluating Dark Elf vs Khajiit you have to take both the WD and the Max Stam/Max Mag into consideration.
Then Dark Elf out damages Khajiit by a big chunk, comparing only the WD passives makes them hit similar.
This has all been tested for hours in duels, stats, 5piece effects and races.
12% Critical Damage equals to around 250 Weapon Damage, Dark Elf provides 258 Weapon Damage, Dark Elf has higher max resources and therefore hits harder.
My Surprise Attack on another player hits ~200 damage harder with 258 extra Weapon Damage than with 12% Critical Damage
Considering that I have already high Critical Damage, the explanation behind this result would be the result of the explanation I gave in the video
8% Critical Damage = ~167 Weapon Damage = ~4% Damage Increase vs base crit resistance
10% Critical Damage = ~210 Weapon Damage = ~5% Damage Increase vs base crit resistance
12% Critical Damage = ~250 Weapon Damage = ~6% Damage Increase vs base crit resistance
After the mark of 120% Critical Damage, the next 12% of Critical Damage give you less than 5% Damage Increase on your Critical Strikes against base critical resistance, and improves by 0.58% for every 20% of critical resistance your enemy has at all points.
While Weapon Damage scaling improves the higher multipliers your build has.
Weapon Damage also increases all your damage and not only your critical strikes resulting in a much MUCH higher damage output.
This makes Dark Elf the objectively hardest hitting race in the game, the only way to make Khajiit hit harder is by adjusting for the sustain it gives and still not coming out much stronger than around ~2% on your critical strikes ONLY.
I am not in need of any more sustain on this build therefore is this not needed.
Keep in mind you would also lose out on tankiness and resources which makes Dark Elf more stat dense.

Misinformation, react faster explains crit vs weapon damage better, not against pve toons with no crit resist
@@adiel3529 how is this misinformation?? He clearly says vs base crit resist. Obviously people might have higher crit resist but weapon damage will always scale longer then crit. So im kinda unsure what you're talking about.
@@shortnsweet5325 average person has more then double their base critical resistance, a lot of his math isn’t properly tested well while he says it is either. According to his own math he should be running greatsword sharpened not an axe but here we are with a axe 😭, use a sharp greatsword, go khajit, switch backstabber with untamed or wrathful and the build is already much better, go triple bloodthirsty over infused too while your at it you’ll see what a hard hitting bow proc actually looks like he didn’t read last patches notes and it shows
Thats not true because before 110%-120% mark, critical damage on Nightblade gives relevant amount of damage.
While theres many resources of free Critical Damage that you can utilize to arrive to 130%.
And because my math is right, Maul will also come out on top in some scenarios, many even considering my low penetration, youre correct. You can go and test that yourself :)

@@TheSniker you wouldn’t never go maul unless going maul sharpened but your not stacking pen, it’s not that hard to check the traits and passives ppl have already argued this, greatsword sharpened does more then axe especially since ur stacking so high on crit damage, that single change without even needing to race change and you will hit harder and if u race change you can switch out other pieces or cp to lose literally NOTHING but gain more stats
As a stamblade main that’s coming back after 3 years of not playing, this is a great video becuase you explain why your using everything. This game has changed a tonne, Good video 👍🏼

I have tried this build, it hits hard indeed, but doesn't have those tooltips. But beyond that its quite satisfying to run. I'm mainly using it on BGs. Interesting idea to use that Mythic, thanks for sharing 🍷
I'm glad I read this. I need a battlegrounds build to take out tanks and I'm guessing without the CP points, this doesn't work.
@BigDaddyGameDev it works! There is an onslaught build made with oakensoul that also can take down tanks in BGs, it bypass their resistances.
I can’t believe these tooltips you are getting, I’m in absolute shock, as a NB main I can’t believe that this is possible, me fully buffed up doesn’t even reach two thirds of these numbers.. I’ve been running night mothers and wretched, balorg and markyn and I always feel so damn weak compared to everyone else, can’t wait to try this out, great vid!

I’ve run khajit, dark elf, high elf, redguard, and orc NBs and I’ve always felt that dark elf hits the hardest regardless of what the tool tips read. You might be the first TH-camr I can recall agreeing with me lol
99% of builds on youtube are not good builds, they are untested and bring no data to back up their reasoning behind running what they do.

Besides, the PvP these youtubers show is not impressive or hard to pull off…
People see 12% and go crazy, ive talked about dark elf to so many people with no success lol

Its capped for 145% in pvp if the enemy has just base impen.

I always thought the Khajiit racial was more damage than Dark Elf but you are right. I've been switching between both my Nightblades with the exact same setup for the past few weeks and my Dark Elf is consistenly hitting harder in most scenario's. I've got just enough sustain that it's not really an issue. I'm sticking with my Dunmer for now GG. 😃

If 12% crit damage from khajit isn’t better than the weapon damage from dark elf, why wouldn’t you opt for a set that gives you more weapon damage instead of the crit damage from gourmand?

The math is pretty simple for crit damage actually, you have a hit of 10, and 100% crit damage so your hit does 20 damage, you now gain another 12% crit damage, so your hit now does 21.2 damage. ((21.2 - 20) / 20) * 100 = 6% increase in damage, it also makes sense, you're already doing double damage, so anything you add on top is going to be halved in terms of % Increase.
Here you go
This would be true if ppl didn’t have flat base critical resistance equal to roughly 22% and any player not running more crit resistance is cannon fodder anyway so u can assume they have rally or impen pieces which get them up to about 40%(7impen) or 48% (rally with no impen), the math you did is for Pve not pvp, 12% crit in a scenario where any person not getting one shot is still about 11-12% damage
Since in you’re build your running infused over bloodthirsty it makes since to go with dark elf since ur lacking in flat damage that can be multiplied by the crit damage, but for optimal damage you go 3 bloodthirsty khajit. No other combination hits harder. Good build nonetheless tho aegis is cool to actually be seen used for once
@@adiel3529 that is false, dark elf hit harder on any stats, and hit especially hard with a lot of pen or critical damage.
Keep in mind Nightblade has a lot of multipliers built in.
@@TheSniker it’s hard to test cus of race changes but bloodthirsty makes the 12% more worthwhile on Nb otherwise not worth. More critical damage you have the more value weapon damage gets and vice versa, push more damage with bloodthirsty and you get more value on crit damage

I dont use it, I use rally instead
@@TheSniker makes sense then. I still use it as a roll destroyer if I'm not dual blade. So I don't worry about courage too much
Sorry if you answered this, but why don't you run Race Against Time instead of Phantasmal Escape then run a different backbar set?
You inspired me to play stamblade was a magblade onetrick since day one but that build looks way to much fun to pass on great job. Do you mind telling what addon you are casting your heavy attacks with i was looking for smth like that for a while now.

You gotta understand that every way you look at it, wretched is absolute overkill amount of sustain.
Divine pieces arent great for stat density.
Youre better off running more well fitted pieces for sustain or another sustain glyph on jewerly.

I need help. Trying to make a bowblade build, doesnt have to gank or one shot. I just love the bow. Nothing i come up with seems to work. Can you make one or give me ideas? Im struggling

back after 2 years, will try this...but you'd be better off using Orzorga's Tripe Trifle pocket....it gives more hp and stam recovery than smoked bear. lose abit of mag recovery and hp, but as vampire the hp recovery is negligible

Would this build be viable as a bow/bow Sorcerer. I have a dark elf scorc doing nothing and i am struggling to get the vate battle axe
Its a build focused on upfront burst, its not gonna work on sorcerer cause sorcerer has either pressure or backloaded burst.

I was looking at the build editor link you put and it says you have buffs like minor brutality and minor expedition, I don't see anywhere in the build how you're getting those buffs, please help! Another thing is I dont see how its possible for you to reach 9700 wp but only 9000 sp, whats creating that gap? thank u
I explained in the comment why I have minor brutality on that build.
Me having minor expedition is wrong and must stem from months ago when I ran a minor expedition set, this will be fixed.
And yes, I reach 9700 WP with minor brutality.

using the exact same build with gourmand on pts vigor's tooltip max showed me 16,8k to maximum of 20k.
how u got up to 34k ? or are that tooltips just on esouesp
I see you have a flex spot for your front bar. Any reason as to why you change between execute and sustain regularly?

@@TheSnikerGot it, but got one more question. Why run two heals on the backbar + momentum heal on front? Isnt that overkill and instead one backbar heal could be swapped out for poison arrow for additional execute pressure or is there another reason?
Btw Ive been trying to recreate the build now. That damn writ lead for aegis belt just wont drop. In the two weeks I tried to get it I got into vVH for the first time and now completed Spirit Slayer, but still cant get that lead 😂
@@dash_vet we run rally mainly for the major brutality and regen, its too much sustain to give up, pretty much gives you more than 300 WD

Nice build, but the tooltips seem pretty misleading unless I'm missing something... I see in your build data this is including a lot of buffs and target debuffs that you don't provide yourself: minor brutality, minor expedition, torugs pact set + crusher enchant, minor vuln
Minor brut and “torugs pact set and crusher enchant” is just minor brut poisons.
Minor brutality is on surprise attack.
And minor vuln i forgot to turn off but it doesnt affect tooltips so its w/e

Interesting stuff. How is cyro these days anyways? Last time i was there finding some actions had its own grind..
Cyro is better than the last few years since they refreshed the servers. I can log in at pretty much any hour and play.
Other than that the meta is extremely annoying, you take anywhere from 4-5k incoming DPS each fight and pugs take full advantage of the easy sustain, and keep rolling or blocking endlessly.
@@TheSniker Legend says if you could get through bow sorc meta you can get through anything :D But good to hear pvp is not dead as it used to be. I was already considering installing the game again and hearing that gave me a lil more boost about it haha

@@TheSniker This was the answer I was looking for. I main an Imperial Stamina Nightblade. I managed to find a very good PvE build to fit my gameplay, but I've always wanted to find a build for PvE. Yes, I have other characters to work with, but let's face it, I am just too attached to my main to include him. I'm also someone who likes to try to push against the meta a bit when I can. I am definitely going to try out this build with my Imperial. Thank you!
How do you change the build when you enter battlegrounds? Because of lower sustain?
Depends on my team, if I can groupplay with them then I dont change it, if I have to play solo then I add a prismatic recovery enchant on one of my jewels

From the gameplay footage it seems that he has 29,540 health, 17,418 magicka and 23,104 stamina.

Yeah, use a different set backbar, one that gives 2 lines of damage instead of 2 lines of stam regen

Yes, because of critical resistance players have.
Base crit resistance is 20% so the base crit cap is 145%

Not only do you forget to specify its gigantic size, its almost like you dont realize most burst damage that can kill you usually happens in less than 1 second.😂
Plus its just 1 mythic... U say 'all' like his whole build is spent on the shield. Like he didnt just spend the other 7 minutes explaining in great detail everything else the completes the build...
Also what exactly frustrates u with the 20,000 hp shield? If its the duration then just know that i think most people would agree anything longer would be absolutely broken.
