Festas de Gracia Walk Tour, Barcelona.
The town of Gràcia was originally a small farming community which, in the course of the 19th century, underwent a big transformation and became an area of workers and small traders.
Gràcia's festa major is regarded as the maximum expression of the neighbourhood's identity and consists of a whole series of celebrations that combine public participation with traditional and popular culture. Residents' associations, split into areas, organise part of the festival, with each one responsible for its own street or square. The result is almost a week of activities in every corner of the old town, thanks to the contribution of the many Gràcia men and women who are involved.
The Fundació Festa Major de Gràcia brings together the associations that decorate the streets and squares and take part in the festival by organising the dances, concerts, workshops, communal meals and so on.
El pueblo de Gràcia fue originalmente una pequeña comunidad agrícola que, a lo largo del siglo XIX, sufrió una gran transformación y se convirtió en una zona de trabajadores y pequeños comerciantes.
La fiesta mayor de Gràcia se considera la máxima expresión de la identidad del barrio y consiste en toda una serie de celebraciones que combinan la participación ciudadana con la cultura tradicional y popular. Las asociaciones de vecinos, divididas por zonas, organizan parte de la fiesta, siendo cada uno responsable de su calle o plaza. El resultado es casi una semana de actividades por todos los rincones del casco antiguo, gracias a la aportación de los muchos gràcias y gràcias implicados.
La Fundació Festa Major de Gràcia agrupa a las asociaciones que decoran calles y plazas y participan en la fiesta organizando bailes, conciertos, talleres, comidas de barrio, etc.

Bro, I'm planning to visit this Festa de Gracia in August now.. but my schedule is strict.. I want to know what time this was recorded exactly? :) cause i have tons of beaches to visit during the day and I'll let this for tonight.. but I'm not sure about the hour..
