20 Animals Adopting Other Animal Species

  • Who says that you can only care for animals that happen to fall into the same species category as you? Isn’t that all a bit old-fashioned and narrow-minded? There are plenty of animals out there that have been crossing over the barriers and bringing needy or vulnerable creatures into their careregardless of whether they might usually choose to snack on them rather than give them a hug. If a wild animal can do it then surely we humans could learn a little more tolerance and stop being sojudgmental...From a cat with an unusually prickly litter, to an African lion switching sides to protect prey animals, here are 20 Animals Adopting Other Animal Species!

About the Australian Shepherd dog... I'm not at all surprised. I had an Australian Shepherd for 18 years. She was the smartest creature I've ever met, including most people. I could write a book on all the things she learned to do and the responsibilities she was given, all without ANY formal training. From a puppy, she just followed me while I worked on our 20 acre farm watching. Within days she KNEW what needed doing and took it on. She was always on duty. She was AMAZING!

I have been fortunate to help save many wild injured birds and return them successfully to the wild... They oftentimes just need time... in a safe place to be sheltered and fed, then released. We had a lab that would bring other animals home all the time. She brought dogs cats ducks rabbits and even a turtle. And at a pond in a park we would via there was a male swan that would take over all the baby ducks and geese and swim around with them. His mate had died a few years before but he still wanted to be a dad I guess. While he would let the parents around them he was very protective and no people were allowed anywhere near “his” brood

#18, the geese and pig. The narrator said geese can be aggressive. That doesn't even begin to describe my parents geese. They had ducks nesting on their property around their pond. One by one, the ducks started disappearing. We started monitoring the ducks and discovered that foxes were preying on them during the night. My folks put an electric fence around the pond, but the foxes still managed to get the ducks. As a last resort, they got 6 geese. These birds are savage. I watched the geese maul a fox one night. Feathers and fur were flying and the fox went from snarling to yipping to howling in pain. We haven't lost another duck.

The animal kingdom shows that a little bit of love is the cure for hate. Let me write the lyrics. "I picked up the morning paper, the headline was no surprise. A random act of senseless violence was committed again last night. It seems like the whole world has gone crazy, ssomething needs to be done. So starting today, I'm going to find a way. I'm going to repay someone. With a random act of senseless Kindness. An unexpected hand to help remind us that a little bit of love is the cure for hate. It's easy to give up but it's never too late. A single step in the right direction. Person to person making a connection. We can change the world that's become so violent with a random act of senseless Kindness. How I long to live the simple life, where neighbours were still friends and the sidewalks leading downtown were safe to walk back then. Oh the classrooms and the school yards were havens for our kids. Well it's a long way, but we can get on track. With a random act of senseless Kindness. Unexpected hand to help remind us that a little bit of love is the cure for hate. It's easy to give up but it's never too late. A single step in the right direction. Person to person making a connection. We can change the world that's become so violent with a random act of senseless kindness. Random acts of senseless kindness. Unexpected hand to help remind us that a little bit of love is the cure for hate. A single step in the right direction. Person to person making a connection. We can change the world that's become so violent with a random act of senseless Kindness. With a random act of senseless Kindness." For those of you that don't know the song that I just quoted. It's "Random acts of senseless kindness".

Help a stray cat or dog and the reward is likely unconditional love. Help a stray human and your reward will be theft to fuel addiction. If you are stupid enough to take in a homeless person and allow longer than 30 days of continuous occupancy, that person gains tenancy rights and is near impossible to evict. Big difference.

While you’re right, you need to learn that not all animals are kind, look at fucking Zebras beating the shit out of pregnant Zebras for the sake of it, or Dolphins gangbanging young females, or Hippos murdering their babies because they feel like it. I’m registering her with animal care and control and fostering her until we can find her family. She super tiny and she’s pretty old. She and my blind dog do really great together. He has specific things he does everyday at certain times. When he gets to the point that he’s walking around the entire house over and over and over, this little girl Minpin I’m trying to find her family for, decides to follow my little silky and walked with him around and around and around. @@Feminazi1dc my little guy passed away 3 weeks ago. He was going to be 14 years old. I cry everyday being without him. We really relied on each other through so many things. He also had HGE problems. Four times they were able to save his life with weeks in the hospital. It hurts so much knowing he was so badly mistreated and inbred that he had so many complications. Several doctors didn’t expect him to live very long at all. I refused to believe them and gave him all of my time that he wanted. I have videos of him playing with me. He would pretend he was going to bite me on my chin then give licks (kisses). We would play his favorite game for hours. I miss him dearly and it’s a daily struggle. His blindness, I talked with different veterinarians about and they said it was part of the inbreeding at the puppy mill he was at. No pain, just lose of sight. It didn’t stop him any though. He went with his other senses and I never moved furniture or had something in his path he followed. I was blessed to have this perfect angel as my little one forever. Gezz!!! I miss him so much! I cry every day and wish I could hold him and have his smiles again. Oh, his smile. He had the cutest grin. So toothy😁. He even turned that into a game. He didn’t play ball or have squeakies, he had a special way of playing. Many friends said he was so weird. I didn’t see that. I seen a strong little boy that was complete love and precious and I was honored he was my little boy.

I wanted 2 kittens. My nephew bought me a little few days old female kitten that was reject by it's mom. It was so young it hadn't opened his eyes. I had to spoon feed her. Then one day I heard meowing coming from the basement. I went down and saw a tiny female tortoise kitten that hadn't opened it eyes. I took it upstairs and started spoon feeding it too. Both kitten acted like they were siblings.

I hope the mama dog gets to live outside too and is not stuck in a halfway house just being a surrogate 24 hours a day.... what a beautiful thing she does though

I loves animals but I love humans too, and I think there's so much people taking care of other people or animals, so we can learn love from them. And of course, we can enjoy seeing animals' love too.Thank for the video.

My dog Macy made a recent adoption last year on Labor Day when my family found a black kitten we named Motor under the hood of a car. When we introduced them to each other Macy quickly adopted Motor and groomed him.
