It's usually the same in all countries that if you find a thing and turn it over to authorities and no one else claims it or reports losing it in a amount of time and the person who found it can then take possession of it and free to do with what ever you then like. Don't tell anyone else that you found it. Only someone who actually lost it will be looking for it and not saying ( i heard that this item was found) because they heard about it and try claiming it is theirs. Shhhhhh! Someone loss might be your gain if you're patient.
