What a beast. I am a rotary purist and I think the 13B makes this car so much more. LS swap is very cool nonetheless
100% that interior needs to be returned to factory, the cage needs to come out and a factory rear glass would be nice. It would be a shame to see it sold, something like that is appreciating and is just too good to go. if only I had the cash haha.
From what I've read, the 13b come in at 112Kg and an all aluminium LS1 weights 220Kg 😉✨
Yeah until you account for the dressed weight, with all the turbo stuff. Then the overall weight is essentially the same but the V8 probably has a lower center of gravity, because for example, the centerline of the crank sits lower than the E-shaft would. Rotaries aint that light, but they are compact which allowed for better aero with rotary race cars like 787, which is a big deal.

I love the RX7 but personally I'd sell it then put that money + some more pennies and by a rotary one. You can tell the swap has had love so I wouldn't swap back in the stock engine

I think he should keep it for now. Sort out the interior, also the brake balance and tidy up engine bay. I think new brakes and new wheels. Give more stopping power and better feel. Then if possible since it has its own ECU tweek it a little to squeeze a bit more bhp.

Given by the weird injectors in the front wing, I have a feeling this car might have started as a show car conversion with the V8 but the owner, whether that's who Dan bought it from or another owner in between had other ideas and put the slightly less than tasteful aero on it to make it into a track car. Strange thing.
