Mine too. This breaks my heart. Every time Ming walks into frame I role my eyes.
Ming is an a##! I am loving the performance by Up. This series was good from first scene! So good! Love the lead characters! Up and Poom killing it!
Yes, they are both doing a great job.
I love the acting and their chemistry. It feels realistic and natural and grown up, something that I often feel is missing from Thai BL's. And the fight choreo was great too. Joe drunk was not the best acting though.
And yes Ming is not treating Joe right BUT he is more complex than just a bad guy or evil. You can see how he tries and want's Joe and was moved hearing Joe talk to Sol etc but also he is an a**hole and red flag and set up conditions that just seem to control Joe so I'm not saying he is a good for Joe or that he isn't doing some really manipulative and abusive stuff. He basically just said "not to mess with his privacy" and for Joe to not be with anyone else but that also made Ming free to do whatever with whoever (Tong) and Joe is gonna be made the bad guy if he asks about it. I mean Ming already has both flirted with Tong in front of Joe as revenge for him getting jealous for nothing and then snapped at Joe for asking about it. It's so abusive, Ming has basically already checked off every point for domestic abuse already but it's so realistic for many relationships since most abusive relationships have very sweet and loving cute moments too.
I really love when they make characters complex like this and that his wrongdoings doesn't come from him just trying to being evil but more from him being messed up (which does not excuse his behaviour, it's still wrong).
And oh Joe is quite messed up too, so longing for a home/family that he just accepts and agrees to everything and anything.
And I like that it shows a toxic relationship but more complex, the good and the bad and that it is clear that it is wrong and toxic, not like in some (mostly older) BL's where it's really toxic but portrayed as romantic.
Both main characters are great, great acting.

Okay i understand ming is getting on everyone's nerves but try to also understand him he has probably been in "love " with tong for so long he cannot even think or imagine been in a relationship with anyone else but he has fallen for joe he just doesn't quiet realise it yet give him some grace .

Ming's character so far is NOT very likeable. Looks like the direction of this series is headed where he will have regrets and try and get Joe back on his side. If you start a relationship if you call it that where Joe is Tong's stand in and Ming uses Joe as a toy, then I don't know how Ming's character later on is redeemed for Joe or anyone to fall in love with. It's gonna be a painful 12 episodes to watch. It would be interesting if you have a series where the leads do not end up together.
