My Mi A2 switched off automatically while watching youtube and not turning on since. Charging indicator also not showing when plugged in. I tried Volume Down + Unlock button to go in fastboot mode and then restart. But nothing works. Screen doesn't show anything. Phone still switched off. Any idea what might be the issue?
@@sureshmobilerepairing8002 After 3 days at repair shop they said the issue was with the hard disk of the phone. Which they replaced. Now from 4gb/64gb model it became 6gb/128gb model. The phone works just fine now. Though the imei numbers were changed in the process of hard disk flash or so I was told. Sold the phone and got a new one. Anyways, thank you so much for help. Keep up the good work !
If you can’t turn on your mi a2(broken power button) follow these steps. But you’ll need access to battery. You’ll need to open only 5 screws. First open the phone and get into fastboot mode. Do not unplug any internal cable yet. You can get to fastboot without power button by holding the volume down + plug in charger cable. After that , unplug the battery cable while it’s in fastboot mode and plug it back in. Your phone should turn on after all those steps, if not, repeat the process( get into fasboot, unplug battery cable ) Hope that helps.

Maybe its power button issue
It might be battery problem....it's hard to tell without looking at it.
