hi folks at the moment haven't watched the video but have used the p520 for about 4years for wildlife, it works me hard to get the best picture but have had some good results so I have tested the camera to the max 100 shots a week its only fault is the zoom lens after a while of of zooming in and out it becomes uncontrollable
Did u buy your camera new or used? So your saying youve had/noticed all these issues/cons with your camera at the beginning or later on down the road with use/aging lol? I was planning on getting this model but due to your review im starting to think twice. Thanks for the review.
300?! i got the p520 with a high end tripod, travel case, extra sd card and charger + battery for 175 off my friend less then a month ago. great camera for videos, and long dist photos.
Check out the Olympus Pen EPL6 - th-cam.com/video/bovYeG6zfA0/w-d-xo.html I mainly use it for pictures (not video). But it's proven to be a better shooter than the P520, for a comparable price and interchangeable lens options.
You mentioned its WiFi enabled , mine dont have any wifi setting only GPS unless you refer to an external dongle .however mine is bought in the UK the battery is a very big problem render the camera useless I using my old Sony 5MP DSC F717 with much better results in still photography , Nikon of China Not Japan any more..Shame

That's a great deal! It's got it's quirks.. but it's a good camera. I still use it (going on 4 years old now).
Since im still abit new to it, do you think i should stick with auto focus, or get into manual focus at longer zoom?
Mike yea
are you able to switch between different lenses on this camera ?
No the lens is built into this model
uhh no ! I'm actually looking for an affordable interchangeable lense camera that has a vari angle screen also .

Just negative and no user info worth a darn!!! Don't bother with you tube tutorial!!
Lol make a video of your own and then bash someone else's. I've used this camera a lot and this is my experience with it.
