Hi Tony, after binge listening to Gaucho yesterday I was looking forward to winding down today with Ballads and I can tell you I was not dissapointed. I first played it on headphones and was blown away by the sound of all the instruments, i especially love the drum sound and the brushes are so crystal clear. Last night I then switched off the lights and listened on the audio system in darkness. Honestly it was like being in the room with the 4 musicians as they performed this wonderful music. Thanks for all you do Tony.👍
I evaluate my YT videos via Klipsch 2.1 desktop computer speakers and I myself am amazed how well the sound quality of the pressing comes through. Even the imaging and soundstage seem to come through really well. I know a lot of people dog YT for their compression, compression, compression, and some of that is true, but since creating 192K 32bit-float audio files combined with 4K UHD video files (most of my uploads being 1.5 GB on average per song) the sound, I think, has improved dramatically. At least that's my bias and I'm sticking to it! 🙂

@@tonytschidaWhat your doing with the sound Tony is truly amazing and its wonderful to read how you put it all together.
This sounds fantastic. My pressing from the late 90's sound horrible compared to this.
Thanks! Being a fairly recent vinyl revert this is the only copy I have and I agree that it sounds really good.
