Thank you for your words. Istanbul is indeed like a matriochka , she needs to be seen with contemplation. Savouring your new book 🙏🏼 keep on writing and showing us the hidden world we overlook while living

And that is maybe the only reason that there is. Istanbul is a huge monster. An enormous, gigantic, impersonal metropolis. It makes me think of termites. I love Athens. There is a really lovely cafe where I meet my family. I love Rome. Piazza Venezia is so awe-inspiring. I love Barcelona with its ramblas. I love Palermo with the narrow streets that always have shadow in the summer. I love Budapest and Vienna that breathe culture. I love Prague with its nice restaurants. I love Stockholm, Bergen, Reykjavik and Helsinki that make me feel like a bottle of wodka with ice on the surface. I love Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Also Berlin and Heidelberg. Paris and Bordeaux. London is marvelous. I love Marrakesh and Rabat. Even modern Tel Aviv. I love NYC and Los Angeles. But Istanbul gives me the creeps!

Istanbul is such a wonderful place with so many contrasts. I wish I had the chance to go there and see the Blue Mosque and some interesting places that were witnesses of History ;)

What a beautiful description! It makes me think of my own city, Santiago, Chile, and I think this one is quite masculine, repressive, patriarchal, it makes me think of conquerors and soldiers and violence and machism, and hidden veins where minorities try to move. Hopefully, one day this spirit of the city will change and embrace multiplicity 💜

I have travelled through Europe and European Russia for some time but I have never been to Istanbul. I have always dreamt to go to Istanbul one day. It must be a wonderful city. I happen sometimes to download 4k drive videos of Istanbul and I find these 4k drive videos very interesting.

You always pay attention to those people who are out of their minds, people who do anything they like, people who don't know the rules that God has given us.

What do see/feel when you compare Istanbul to London? Would London be male?

I remember hanging out around your neighborhood where you said you used to live.
like you said that area always tolerated people in need, more than the rest of the city/country.
maybe that is why today taksim area is full of Syrians and other minorities. they need most. I show positive discrimination to them.
my question is : do you have anything to say about male feminism. is there anything like that at all. I dont want to end up being a girls husband. can't we fight in this together . or is it male forbidden area
