I found a golden ring in a forest using my new metal detector

I have been testing Manticore on fields for a few weeks now. This time, I finally decided to try it in a forest setting. Went to a new forest, that is really well known for metal detecting finds. Everyone says it is really hunted out, but I wanted to try myself. I was not ready and did not expect the find that I managed to uncover after just 2 hours detecting in the forest. I found a gold wedding ring from WW2 era, with date and initials!
I consult my finds with an archaeologist and hand over the finds for research and documenting. I had only good experience working with the experts in their fields and recommend cooperating with archaeological institutions to every metal detectorist out there.
