goddamn. In my head I keep thinking get the images / data and move over to photoshop but with every video I'm amazed at the sort of editing you can do in arcgis. Thank you for these great videos

So many cartography hacks in this one video. I like the gradient effects which makes things pop out in a cool way 👍

    More than just a cartography!
BTW there's an easier way to fill in the attributes without calculate fields! Just simply use attribute table (not ctrl + t) and select all needed features. I will provide a video about that when I will be ready.

Hello! Not on this video, although it's very very cool, but I was interested in making a 3D Printed Terrain map like the one you made of the Big Island. As a secondary school student, I can't exactly buy the 100 dollar a year software, although i can try out the free trial. Would everything you did on there, including the mosaic of multiple images, and the Spatial Analyst, work on the ARCgis Online software? Thanks so much!

The layout of three separate maps would not be supported in ArcGIS Online. The only other thing I can think of that’s not supported is the offset of the dropshadow. Otherwise you can do the trail and basemap symbology in Online.

Cool video! Is there a reason for not merging the three layers into one and dissolving the result? 🤔

No, no good reason. It’s just sort of nice having the three trails as distinct features, probably just for my weird brain. 😅
