I don't think Home Free has ever shied away from their spiritual beliefs. They just don't see the need to preach them all the time. They live them in friendliness and kindness and good deeds and love for those around them and beyond.

I love Home Free's take on this song. It never touched me before, but the emphasis they put on I AM have a great and deep meaning and importance. Everything we think we are we become and we all spend hundreds of thoughts a day thinking I AM, it's just that most add things like stupid, fat, not enough, not worthy, not valued, not loved, not appreciated, ugly, poor and whatnot after. Unintentionally, of course, but we become what we think we are. The way they sing it here, the way you felt it Jeffery, is such a powerful affirmation of all the good that we are. Keep doing that every day and your lives will become more and more full of magic. Do it during hard times and they will resolve with more ease, grace and flow. Not quite, his dad was in southern gospel quartets, but he wasn't with the Oaks, and Austin used to go on tour with his dad as a young boy.
