People, i really need to know, has anyone ever met someone remotely similar to k?? I really think there is no such man in real life.
I know someone like K; an old sweetheart of mine. Is unfailingly respectful to women, never touched me without consent. He used to make up these fantastic stories to lull me to sleep (he'd repeat them over multiple nights so that I could hear the parts of the story that I fell asleep to). He sings to me and says random words in his accent to make me laugh. Absolutely loves watching flowers grow. I couldn't say one bad thing about him if I tried.
It wasn't meant to be (distance), but he still checks on me frequently. I am so incredibly grateful that we were able to stay friends. ❤️
the closest i’ve ever met to a man like K is my granddad. just seeing the way he would treat me and my other siblings and cousins, my mum and aunts (his daughter in laws), and my grandma really warmed my heart because he believed in treating women with respect (unlike a lot of other South Asian men that i know). he sadly passed away last year but he was the reason i have such high standards and truly, no one ever had a bad thing to say about him.
