Haha this may be the greatest post-race interview ever.
I'm crying happy tears. This is so amazing
She literally has said what we've all said about a marathon. " Why the hell am I doing this?" Its so relatable and humbling to see an athlete at this caliber say exactly what we've all felt.
Speak for yourself. I know exactly why I’m doing it.
@@wesleytwiggs7687 lol fierce
At a marathon? Heck I hobby jogged a little over 5 miles this morning. I asked myself why the hell am I doing this...
I always knew exactly what I was doing when I started-- after all, I trained for months for that moment. But I have had that thought several times around 18 or 20 miles for sure.
I’m questioning myself “why am I doing this? I’m a grown up woman with busy life, why?!” literally every race. Then I finish and think “Ah! That’s why!”
She’s hilarious. How can you be this good and surprised by your ability?
Go run a half marathon. Or do an endurance race you've never done. all of us age group athletes have this mental talk. its real.
Hasan is so expressive. The interviews with her allow us to know how a star in the history of athletics thinks. He doesn't give common responses like "I'm happy." She recounts everything she thinks and feels. A luxury to listen to.
She stopped, stretched and before the race she was like "do i have mental issues?" And a couple of hours later she won the marathon. Amazing talented person!
The all-time GOAT of range.
1:56 in the 800.
World Record holder in the mile.
Olympic Champion in the 5,000 and 10,000.
And now London Marathon Champion.
What was impressive is that at the Olympics, she feel in the 1500 meters and gets up and wins the race. Where is Hollywood?
@@16nowheremanomg that was her! I remember that race. Incredible!
Maybe she should add 400m on that list
@@unknowpeople1614 The 800 would be more likely.
She won chicago marathon last month☺😚😙
I didn’t realize I could like her more than I already do. She exudes everything we’re trying to achieve. And that humbleness and vulnerability!! C’mon!! 🐐🐐🐐
Until you realize she started to hit impressive times right around when she started to be coached by Salazar. I am highly doubtful of her but people prefer funny interviews and storylines rather than honest athletes.

My favorite post race interview ever. She is an empress. So inspiring and beautiful. Bravo! ❤️👸🏾👏🏾
She won chicago marathon last week
She is an awesome person-she was trying to share her drink with the girl that missed hers 😊 love her!!!
That was some pure sportsmanship right there

@@karinavoggel5741 Is this guilt by association? Do you have any proof or just suspicions?
After her amazing double/triple at the olympic games this victory makes her one of the greatest distance runners of all time. Male or female. Winning in maybe the strongest field ever on your first marathon, stopping two times and she could not train 100% because of her religion/ramadan. She is born to win and such a great person.

An Amazing Athlete.
She will become the GOAT, I tell you. She is absolute amazing
She’s a goat’s goat!❤❤❤❤❤
Maa shaa Allah... 👏 From a kenyan, battling the pain and winning London marathon... I say well deserved
She is amazing.
Hi Sifan, we all are eager to see what heights u can reach. Keep it up and be steadfast, millions are on ur side and will be watching ur progress. Keep urself fit and keep going. God bless u.
Well deserved!! Such a lovely human being. May she carry on giving us such pleasure to watch her on the tracks & future marathons for yrs to come. Well done.!👍 👏
She won chicago marathon last month
And so she does, bronze medal at the 5000 and 10000 mtr Olympics bettered with the gold medal in the Olympic marathon...( she was blaming herself for not having the courage to start a 400mtr stride for the gold in the 10000 🤩
Congratulations, Sifan! Your courage to be vulnerable and toe the line with so many eyes watching is absolutely beautiful.
What a legend this women
I did not believe she was capable of that. I stand corrected. So inspiring !
What a great interview and a great athlete!!!
Grande Sifan Hassan, que clase la que tiene para correr, realmente maravillosa, felicitaciones y un gran saludo desde Los Sauces CHILE.
Congratulation Sifan Hassan great race! Aid Mabrouk
Wonderfull, Glad you won, your spirit shines to the world
This is out of this world…congratulations
I adore this woman! What an absolute hero!
HASSAN!!! she ran this marathon like such an amatuer and pulled the W. As we all know shes an amazing athlete this victory just solidifies that. I love her
This woman is my favorite runner ever. Humble and amazing.

she has the best range i've ever seen
Watching her struggle and the come first out of no where absolutely incredible. She stopped several times to strech and then that performance. Absolute inspiration, I dont run and shes inspired me to go for the ballot next year.
Best post marathon interview ever
I'm so happy for her. Thank you for sharing this interview!
Best debut win and comeback!
I didn’t even know her but now after watching all her interviews she’s one of my favourite athletes. What an incredible person she is. Kind, humble, curious and funny. Unbelievably talented.
Wonderful interview. Such a likable personality.
That last bad move for the water at the last station together with the commentators remarks about her lack of experience was worrying. And that man kept writing her off saying she should drop from the race... She proved him wrong.😅
Juz like Obiri,, not used to marathon,, bt patience n hope gave her strength to kick to the top.. Congratulations Sifan..
She did this before on 1500 mètres ! She fell and finish 1st haha ❤️ goat 🐐
I remember seeing this race in the Olympics, and I just couldn't believe it.
“ what is wrong with me “ hahaha that’s what we all think when we run periodt
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
What a lovely lady! I'm so glad for her. Congratulations Sifan! 👏
If your were not a fan before, you are now!!!🎉
What a win, and super interview. ❤❤❤
Next time, she run a marathon in 2 hours 10 ! Actually she went in London for a stroll, some jokes here and there and began to run just during the last 2 hundred meters ! The others stayed stuck on the tar ! Siffan Hassan is the angel of running !🤣🤣😜😜🥰🥰🥰🥰
She run 2:13 Chicago marathon 6 weeks after winning silverand bronze in budapest
Mashallah! What a wonderful accomplishment
I was rooting for Sifan Hassan since the beginning of the race. And I felt her struggle from 18 to 20 km. But knowing her running strategy to stay at the back and having control until she could burst to sprint 🏃♂️ fast towards finish line.
This is an EPIC interview
She's great!! What a great athlete!!
What a lovely lady
No one stops in a marathon and then continues to run and wins the race. Oh, wait, she stopped twice. So, she wasn't supposed to win, especially again elite marathoners. Wait, she also had to go back and take a water break and then catch up to the front runners and still wins the race. Wait, she also talks to other runners and even offers them water. What is this? Something out of a movie. Wait, there should be a movie about this race and this woman. Oh, at the last Olympics, she fell and got up and won the race. She is the real Wonder Woman.
SHE CRUSHED IT. Truly unexpected.. but Accomplished .
As soon as I heard she entered, I think I saw the future. She is a lioness
These runners have such respect for the sport. And reverence for the Marathon
Gefeliciteerd meid!
I love Sifan! Such an amazing and down to Earth talent.
She is amazing!❤️
🥲 What a champion. Congrats, girl. You did us all proud🎉
Amazing!! Bravo!
What an incredible athlete
A super talent!
greatest range of any athlete of all time? 1:56 800m pb
I knew dt she had it ,the time she covered d distance to catch up with leading pack! d finishing was marvelous
Ethiopian legend 🇪🇹
Not the best questions, I have to say. she said from the beginning that she didn't even believed that she finished because of the discomfort(or injury)on her leg. And I don't think that even an elite runner believes or thinks that he/she can actually win their first major marathon
"What the hell is wrong with me!"
-Sifan Hassan 🤣🤣🤣
Sifan, you are greatness!
She is on whole other level. Test her for the Mutant X gene 😜

what a beast!!!
such an amazing interview
She is real 😻
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ BEAUTIFUL JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
Amazing congrats 🎊 Sifen!!!! Intaala Oromo❤❤❤🎉👍👍👍
What a coincidence, Sifan Hassan a former 1500 m racer wins a marathon just a week after her colleague Hellen Obiri, also a former 1500 m racer won the Boston marathon!!! Kudos!!
not sure what obiri is planning for the olympics but Hassan is going to try 5 and 10km and also the marathon, so she isnt a former track athlete yet. this year shes also going to try the world championships on the track.
@@joowsty She is a Super sports lady
I bet she can win 5 medals if she really wants to (1500, 3000, 5000, 10000, 42k)
I think that after this amazing win, she is the greatest female distance runner of all time.
@@16nowhereman Hmm, I'm not sure yet but at this moment, yes. Of course Sifan is slightly older than Gidey by 5 years and if you look at Sifan's results, she improved a lot in 2019 when she's 26. Gidey might have more to come.
I don’t think the comity will adjust the athletic programming for her… but they should… watching this woman run is writing a page in history athlete greatness
@@jasperherr8694 Gidey may have more to come, but she does not have world class 800 meter speed, that is the difference between her and Sifan.
Harassn mereceu essa vitória pela o que ela já fez no esporte
I like her smile.
Hats off to Marathon Runners, that is a grueling distance and training block.
Omg I love her so much haha ❤
This is Sifan's universe the rest of us are just living in it, 😁
The stuff legends are made of.

I look forward for the game/race of Titans Sifan Hassan vs Hellen Obiri 😄
What a coincidence again!! Both Sifan and Hellen Obiri never thought they were making the best decision to join marathon!!
Congrat,s Hassan never say die that,s your modus operandi well done 🤠👌✌️👍!!!.
Congrats, take care of that leg.

In...sane! :O
Sifan Hassan is amazing. She always doubts herself but we do not! I hope she doesn't ever have to compete against biological males

Why didn’t ya’s showed at least the finish?🥵
This interview is in such chaotic spirit its almost funny. Also anyone know why she wears the towel on her head? It looks so odd :D
She covers her hair m.
@@ano1004 But why? She does not cover it when she runs so why suddenly in interviews. It makes no sense.
