Do you have any experience with Motul 800 2T factory line, off road oil? They write that it even exceeds the JASO FD standard. Of course, fully synthetic and ester-based.
The motul 800 offroad variant is all I use. 33:1 ratio in all my saws, not one issue, the pistons are very clean and I don't have any carbon deposits on the intake. I run my saws hard and it seems to burn very cleanly. I don't like amsoil saber, it seems to burn very dirty and the piston have a brown deposit all over it similar to stihl's hp ultra. The dominator is even worse, as it has no corrosion inhibitor and I heard horror stories of people having their cranks and bearings rusting in just 1 years of use.
@@em4703 Many thanks for describing your experience. But please tell me why do you use such an oily/rich mixture? 1:33 and not the usually recommended 1:50? Is this due to the device manufacturer's recommendations or your experience? On the other hand, it is a hint that the mixture must burn very clean. I have the same experience with Stihl's HPs. And this specific smell.
@@aaronozjaszowiczszechter9665Lower end bearings longevity is better at 33:1 compared to 50:1 or higher, I opened up many chainsaws and that was my observation. All saws that reached 3000+ total hours were ran 33:1, none at higher ratios, irrespective of oil used. The piston and cylinder can easily handle 100:1 if the tune is right, but the rolling motion of bearings need oil volume. Its also their only means of cooling off. Reminder that 50:1 is pushed mostly in the west for emission purpose and less for tool longevity. Look up stihl site in SE asia or australia, they go as low as 25:1 recommended “if not using stihl branded oil”. I like how motul 800 smells, classic motocross exhaust smell, sweet even. Hp ultra is too stingy on the nose imo.
I also using Amsoil Saber. Cleanest 2 stroke oil. I get him from Germany 17 euro per bottle, best buy.l mix 1:70 for trimers and small chainsaws and burnig very clean and better trottle responde. Amsoil best oil . Be safe. God bles you.Greeting from Croatia.
Good comparison, quite big difference!😳 They don't sell 780's in nordic countries. How much cheaper it is compared to 880?🤔 Greetings from Finland.🇫🇮🌲🌲🌲
Both are great!
Scule adevărate!, dar cred ca sunt și grele.👏👌
