Can you explain to me what is on the tag and why do you tag it? Do you record it somewhere or what use is the data?

There is a number on the tag that gets recorded and all the info of the fish is linked to that number. All the data goes onto the ORI database, so when a angler catches the fish they can see how much it has grown and how far it has traveled
