They should Add Ranked to this game, like 1v1 2v2 and other gamemodes, with a auto map selecion like this mode Ed was playing, in terms of mods, they should make something like tournaments, like a DT or HR map
The Map Pool Will Change from time to time
And ofc, a queue system that will try to find player with similar ranking (not pp)
And them we Will have the pp leaderboard and the elo leaderboard

Automap should be ranked maps otherwise you might get the most filthy maps known to man

I think this would actually be a really good idea for OSU have a ranked system where you could play against people in similar elo and maps are choses based on ur elo and it could be like randomly selected by pre choses maps that the devs have choses. I think it would make me start playing osu again.

It would be so cool (coming from a mania player). I know so much about standard even tho i don't play it because it's what people think of while saying osu and i think that other gamemodes absolutely need to be more popularized.

That's like saying Magnus Carlsen joining a seperate ranking system(outside of ELO) and playing against people of similar rank to him is "fair" because in that system he hasn't reached his proper rank yet...
It's also like saying smurfing in video games is fair because that account has a similar rank to your opponents.
_Obviously neither of those are cheating and I'm not saying it shouldn't be allowed_ or anything but my half joking point was/is that they are already at the top of the world rankings, it feels a bit lame that they're flexing on this separate(unofficial) ladder just for content...

i mean tbh, the rank system is quite flawed in o!RL since it doesn't change elo rewards compared to relative osu rank difference and beatmap difficulty. I made it to legendary easily while playing in a 3* lobby with a friend as a 5 digit.

Don't know which is newer but this is quite similar to o!mm. Honestly some form of elo system is a no brainer in any game where you want to competition. I mean most of us already think tournament performance is a better indicator of overall skill than pp. Altough I kinda get the feeling this will never be officialy implemented.
So that’s what those numbers mean
This is promising and fun, but I think the multiplayer competitive (the 1v1 and thing) will be more popular at the end of the day
