Aaron, your reviews show that you are a thoughtful person. You're the only one I've seen discuss the impact on the planet, price vs value etc. I appreciate that. I laughed when you told us about your 'trash monster' moment .... we all have them, including those elegant, chic French people who were on business, not compounding stuff, when they arrived. I'm sure they too, have their shlumpy times.
Hi Aaron, hope your well and in good health. Can you do a review on 'Chanel Coromandel' everyone is talking about it and would like to hear your views on this great release.
I really love this one. One of my favorite fougeres. Very wearable and elegantly inspired by Arthur, to Chanel’s point. I usually go anosmic to it, while the sillage is prominent, to your point.
Le Lion is the only one I've sampled from the Exclusifs line, and I've wanted to try this for a while - I think you've convinced me to try this too lol
@yukiaditya7352 I recently tried Coromandel, it's like softer version of Le Lion. I just looked up Bel Respiro and it looks interesting - I saw someone describe it as a powdery green; I LOVE powdery fragrances
Love the videos! Would you ever consider doing a breakdown and comparison of the whole Terre d’Hermes line? (though I know you don’t like them much XD). Or maybe something from Goldfields and Banks :)
As an additional Chanel review, please give serious consideration to Les Exclusifs de Chanel No 22. Over 100 years old and still fantastic and doing really well!
Love the content Aaron! Can you please review Spiritum Paris Cosmos Guide #33 from their sacred numbers collection. Or any fragrance from them. Spiritum Paris is a newer niche house based in paris and created by Jonathan Dufour and Philippe paparella paris who is an amazing perfumer as well. Please review Spiritum Aaron. Please! ❤
Can you do a review on the NEWWWWW ALLURE SPORT SUPERLEGGERA???? PRETTY PLEASE. People keep saying it doesn’t compare to Edition Blanche but I think SUPERLEGGERA is much better bc it’s not so limey blimey!!
I enjoy Boy, I wouldnt mind a 10ml decant, not a full bottle. Im VERY surprised you havent tried Coromandel or Sycamore yet, I think those would perhaps be more up your alley
How can we request a review? I recently got a bottle of Ormonde Jayne Montobacco intensivo and I quite like it. the description of french perfumery made me think of montobacco intensivo. it's ab elegant, sophisticated fragrance that's quiet. It is the epitome lf "understated elegance" and is one of my favorite fragrances I wear that’s simply just a nice smelling fragrance. It’s not an eye rolling to the back of my head type of fragrance, but I can still get goose bumps some time and most importantly, I am able to enjoy it enough that it reminds me of how wonderful it is to be alive.
Hi Aaron, can you do a review of Kenzo homme EDP? Absolute masterpiece from Quentin Bisch. Not a lot of people know about this gem, a very unique leathery summery fragrance which has amazing projection and lasts all day. It’s also super cheap for the quality.
If we could move away from the plastic lid, how about the pressure pipe from inside the bottle. Is it made from plastic too? And if so, how can we change this? .
I bought a gallon of isopropyl alcohol the other day for 18quid. Really good for cleaning stuff. I haven't drank any yet but I'd assume it gets you drunk very quickly followed by death maybe. 99,9%
Hi Arron ❤ This Fragrance Is awesome 👍 but performance is only OKish 🤯 But From this Private Line I absolutely Love ❤Coromandel #Sycamore and Le Lion 😊
I did my dissertation on the French perfume industry. French perfumery in recent history was more subtle (this has not always been the case, heavy scent civet was used for masking as it was thought that water actually carried disease) because the social radius was much more intimate between individuals therefore your sillage had to be alluring and not overbearing in close proximity. Although this did a volte-face in the late 79’s /80’s with heavy hitters such as YSL Opium and Dior’s Poison The subconscious social distance we maintain is defined by our cultural mores. Americans generally have a much wider social circle, they speak more loudly and as a result American perfumes tended to be much stronger, more brash.
I have the big bottle and hardly find an occasion to wear it even tho I enjoy the scent much. Used about 15 percent of the bottle. Willing to trade or give away for free LMK❤
Thank you for pointing out and calling them out on their cheap presentation. Plastic cap, standard bottle , and normal atomizer with very little effort for that price is the reason I’m returning a 200ml bottle of Comète tomorrow, scent is ok but I don’t love it , very disappointed by presentation. LV, Creed, MFK, Xerjoff, PDM, Amouage they all do a better job with using more premium materials & presentations.
I find Boy dull. Typically French in its highly finessed and supremely sophisticated style but too dainty, soft and not loud enough for me. I wouldnt pay £200 for 75ml of this, then again, there are not many from CHANEL Les Exclusif stuff I would.
I enjoy the videos. 1 thing: you use the word “eloquent” many times in describing a scent, but eloquence refers to someone’s command and skillful use of the spoken word. A scent cannot be eloquent.
Notice how he uses elegant correctly when describing the appearance of a person. He clearly knows what it means and yet chooses to use the word eloquent when referring to perfume; something he is very clearly qualified to speak on.
@@michaelm1326 what? His understanding of fragrances and his understanding of language, words and proper grammar for that matter, have nothing to do with one another. I am simply saying that he is continually misusing a word, and if he truly wants to improve, and get better, he won’t continue to misuse it. I do find it ironic that he is misusing the word eloquent, which is the very opposite of eloquence,
I am not sure he is expecting a literal translation, if the “scent could talk” it would be “eloquent”, what sort of scent would that be? For me it draws quite an interesting picture, but I can see for others maybe it just annoys…
Again, eloquent and elegant don't mean the same thing. Eloquent means well spoken. Elegant means refined. A fragrance cannot be eloquent. Also, judging by the way you're using the word, you clearly meant elegant.
@@PlugInKali not sure if you’re aware but Aaron has mentioned multiple times that he is dyslexic and struggles with pronunciation and mixes words up. So yeah you’re right but now you know why
I can imagine eloquent for a fragrance would mean it knows what it smells like and has a distinct and firm identity in it. But thats just the way I interpret that.
such a therapeutic voice and the personal stories are just massive plus
Love your stories, Aaron.
Love the review! You should review Coromandel, Sycamore, and Comete!
It’s a good day when ATH posts 🦄

love the vids man!!!
I have 200ml 2016 bottle. It's a top 5 for LIFE for me
Hi Aaron. You have to review Coromandel by Chanel. It is quintessential French perfumery. One of my favourite fragrances.
Le Lion is the only one I've sampled from the Exclusifs line, and I've wanted to try this for a while - I think you've convinced me to try this too lol
From boutique line I also suggest Sycomore, Cuir de Russie and famous Coromandel. Also 1957, but it’s the most feminine
@CircusInto I've grown to like feminine fragrances on me lol (mainly for layering) so I'll definitely check out 1957 also. Thank you!
You should check Bel Respiro and Coromandel…those two are amazing.

Love when you tell stories
Id love more vids like this, aaron!
Good review Aaron. I tested it a few months at Selfridge's. It's nice, but wat too expensive for my pocket. You Sir are inspiring, I love your reviews
Love your stuff. Thank you
The cap is metal.
The large plastic cube (reusable) that your alcohol comes in is called a tote.
Also known as IBC. IBC stands for intermediate bulk container.
Aaron, you are el mejor!
I adore you. ❤ thank you for all you do… love you 😘
Wow, thank you
So good to hear that you’re limiting how much plastic your company is throwing away ❤
love you and your videos ❤

Both Le Lion and Boy were done by the same perfumer. Love this one.
Can we get a ranking tom ford fragrances list please, would love to get ur thoughts and opinions on the house.
Thank you Aaron.

I bought hard candy, supernova, slut and oud on Friday. I can’t wait to try them 🦄
Lucky! Which website?

xD
Stop suggesting that anyone might drink isopropanol. It is toxic. Not funny.
Can you do haeckles dreamland? There are no great reviews anywhere 😢
Hi Arron ❤ This Fragrance Is awesome 👍 but performance is only OKish 🤯 But From this Private Line I absolutely Love ❤Coromandel #Sycamore and Le Lion 😊
Metal caps only cost about $0.80 - $1 more. Really no excuse not to when you're as large as Chanel.
Chanel is too busy raising prices while watering down the juice.
I layer with 1957.. zhuzh ✨
Please try something from Etat Libre d’Orange

Do you mean the projection rather than the sillage?
@@RichardOliver Yes you are correct I meant projection 😉
Where can I buy your fragrances? Seem to be sold out everywhere.

My church scent.
was a fan of this for a few month but then i found it rather unbalanced and something i didn't like. first bottle i sold again
Feel like its way too pricey for what you’re getting

I totally crazy about Chanel platinum egotiste for men but it's longevity isn't enuff for me.
I enjoy the videos.
