One thing about Toxic that I admire is his ability to keep to the spirit of the original theme in the first verse, but then he goes absolutely ham on the second verse and does whatever he wants to make it his own. Amazing stuff, Toxic! ROCK ON!!!
Agreed. Those are my favorite type of covers. A perfect mix of adding your own personal touches, but still keeping the feel of the original. Toxic is a true master of his craft.

You will probably never see this comment, but this song has helped me so much over the past half year I've been listening to it. I downloaded the TH-cam link as an mp3 and replaced the regular Geometry Dash menu song with this. When I open the game, this cover helps me stay determined to finish whatever task is at hand, no matter how difficult. When I exit a challenge after failing for a few hours to take a break, I'm immediately greeted by this song, all my feelings of sadness and anger turn into feelings of hopefulness. I don't know how many times I've listened to this song, but It's in the thousands for sure. Determination, Persistence, and Hard Work will ALWAYS win in the end, or at least this cover makes me believe it to be true.

@@Gotallofthem1 In my opinion the original theme is kind of chirpy and jovial and it makes me think okay this guile guy is probably pretty good and has some good moves. But this version is like “you have no chance. He’s got his moves and fighter jets and backup and mega muscles and it’s just overwhelming.” I enjoy the contrast

I had no plans of watching a video of the Guile theme tonight, but somehow TH-cam led me to the promised land of this video. Absolutely incredible work on the music as well as the cool background. Everything about this situation is metal as hell, and I can now go about my night with my face thoroughly melted and my attitude adjusted to be in a perpetual whop-ass state of mind.
