    I have a 2014 Fat Bob and this review is accurate. It seems to love that 35-60mph range (though it can easily do more). It's a fun ride. I've taken it out for some 1-3 hour rides (with stops along the way) and it's aggressive, mean-looking, but subdued. Not too loud, not whisper quiet. The right amount of rumble and vibration (after all, what's a motorcycle SUPPOSED to feel like, anyway?). Great review. I've been kicking around the idea of taking it from Nashville to Destin but I think I might get saddle sore on a Dyna, as opposed to a proper Soft Tail. Thanks for your work!

    I bought my 2013 Fat Bob with a Stage 1 kit. From the beginning it had a standard map from Screaming Eagle. After a while I went to a work shop for Dyno Tuning it. Big difference compared to the standard tune.

    Very nice Review. I've got a 2013 and it appears to be pretty identical. It's a great ride especialy with the forward controls. My daughter and i put about 700 miles on in two days and I was very comfortable. Most of my rides are under an hour but it's no problem riding all day with the right seat. Don't think i'd want t do that on a sport bike. BTW i rather like the fact that you get to enjoy American Metal in the UK. Cheers!

    I'v got $8K in my'14 Fat Bob's engine. Now it's 113 c.i. Shows 134 lbs. torque and 129 HP. Goes real good.

    Tha Fatbob 103cc will really jump with a Stage2 kit. Great vid, good to see you ride it like there meant to be ridden. If you ever get the chance to compare, it is a use difference.

    I moved up from an iron to a 2015 fatbob and love it perfect for day trips and has plenty of power for a cruiser ... The stock passenger seat is lacking though, my fiancé is uncomfortable after a 100 miles

      +Grey Goose 4x4 Try the sundowner seat. She should find that a bit more comfy

    TBH, for me I'm not really a fan of the faster racer bikes. I'm a fan of bikes with noise, but not necceserally to go at high speed. For me the enjoyment comes from the size, weight, if I can go slow and still feel like I'm going 100 mph, and if my dad approves. My dad used to love the racer bikers though, so ill probably be moving out before I ever get a bike. I wouldn't really like this Harley though. Probably start off with a smaller biker. Good video mate.

    Hi, great video, just a quick question in your opinion would this suitable for someone who is 6ft 5.

    • @benniehitchcock
      @benniehitchcock  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Gary Cheesman Yeah I reckon you'd be fine. Even in standard trim, these bikes seem set up for larger chaps.

      I got my seat taken back 3 inches and added 3 inches much better riding position and more comfortable on the long rides! I' also got the foot break and gear shifter lever taken forward a couple of notches and it's much better. I'm 6ft 4', one more thing i replaced the risers, with the pull back rises so it added about an inch and a 1/4 toward you much, better for turning and cornering.....

    Looking to get a bike license and I want to know how difficult they are to handle? I would love a street bob or fat bob. Differences between the two?

      Im sure 6 years later you know the answer to your question.. buuuttt incase you don't... street bob is the better handling machine. Skinnier the wheels, better they will corner.

    Be great if you could review Stage 1 Wide Glide ?

    • @benniehitchcock
      @benniehitchcock  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Steve Harley Don't know when I'll get the chance. It's kinda random when I get a chance to ride these kind of bikes. The fat bob is the only dyna I've ridden so far, but I prefer the handling characteristics over the softails. Not so comfy for cruising though.

    Is that stock exhaust ?
    Cuz iI've V&H shortshots and I find it too noisy. This exhaust seems sound great (a lil quiet for my mind ) but seems to noisier than stock.

    • @benniehitchcock
      @benniehitchcock  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +SkyTyphon Cobra pipes on this. Nice sound when you give it some, but quiet enough for cruising. Short shots are way too loud for my taste!

    Hello..Nice review. For cruising Round do you prefer the Fat Boy or Fat Bob and why? Thanks.

      P.S. The vibes you mention on the Fat Bob might concern me.

      Also The above vs Softail deluxe for cruising?

    • @benniehitchcock
      @benniehitchcock  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +dry509 Fat boy is my favorite harley for cruising. The ergonomics are better than the fat bob. The position of the bars in relation to the seat puts less pressure on the back and because it's a softail, it vibrates less. The fat bob feels better when you start to hustle the thing. The dynas do tend to handle better and have a bit more snap to the engine response, but aren't as comfy overall I would say.

    • @dry509
      @dry509 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Bennie Hitchcock Thanks for your response. What about the Softail custom you rode? How does that compare to the Fat Boy?

    what model is most suitable for someone who is only 5.7?
    love your video btw!

    • @benniehitchcock
      @benniehitchcock  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Ivanildo Rellum Seat height won't really be too much of a problem with any Harley tbh, 5"7 isn't that short really. The reach to the handlebars is a bit further on the fat bob and the breakout compared to say the fat boy or the wide glide, but ultimately you can adapt any bike in the Harley range to fit your size.
