In the volleyball world event your team has a strong hit, good defense, fast and whatever the one thing it very important is a HEIGHT that’s the important factor to make your team Won or lose.

To be honest, without Shimamura stepping up on the end of the 3rd set, they couldn't been snatched the 3rd set from Brazil. Great attacks from the middles especially shimamuraa! 🔥

That extended 3rd set was fully Macris’ fault for being too predictable giving the sets to the open all the time. Thought they were gonna get rattled on the 4th set, but glad they bounced back. Meanwhile, Japan really needs to step up their blocking. They really can’t stand a chance if they’re up against teams like Brazil who can match their floor defense, but has stronger offense and blocking. Floor defense can only do so much.
Still, a chance for Japan for a podium finish. But go for the championship, Brazil! Nice to see Natalia playing again!! 🔥 💪
I don't think Japan would be able to improve much their blocking unless they fix their height issue. Brazil open spikers kept going over the block while Tandara keeps on hitting hard on the blockers hands.

I mean, 2 sets was close, the others were not super close. Ultimately in volleyball superb offense > superb defense is almost always how it goes. It’s just so hard to stop attackers at this level often enough to get wins. Edit: should be 2 sets not 1

Great substition for the coach to bring Rosamaria and Roberta to gain momentum in the 3rd set and near end of the 4th set.
I just hope Ishii also played in this game. Ishikawa was scrambling in her attacks on the 4th set and committed so many errors. Her defense is a bit off too. Nonetheless they all did well. I hope momii will be more consistent in the olympics❤
The reason why Ishikawa commited many errors in the 4th set is that the setter Momii's set became very bad, I guess. Japan should have replaced setter at that time.

But, I see she committed some errors by her dault like stepping on the attack line while attempting to do a backrow, and also a very good set from momii from open and she got only 1 blocker from brazil, but still, her attack goes out. However, ai still agree to you that momii needs to be consistent to her sets tho.

Finalmente alguém que sabe dar a opinião sem acabar com a atleta. A Bia não é de todo mal, qnd ela saca pode saber que o Brasil vai abrir vantagem ou encostar no marcador qnd está perdendo, o saque dela é mto bom, quando não faz ace, desestabiliza o passe. Além disso, estatisticamente ela é a melhor bloqueadora, só que precisa melhorar a forma física e talvez seja essa a intencão do Zé dando tanto protagonismo a ela

Brasil presenta un equipo competitivo, ganó a Japón que no es tan fuerte y que de hecho no será medalla en las olimpiadas de su país, pese a ser dueño de casa, que siempre le ha servido para crecerse. Brasil si es candidato fuerte, pero tiene otros cuatro competidores muy fuertes: USA, China, Serbia e Italia. El partido de mañana ante USA será de preparación para Tokio
